aT LEAST SE phones don't lose all your settings whenever you turn the phones off. It's Nokia that suck. They work for five minutes then break. SOny ericsson make proper phones..

1 work for o2 and have not yet herd any news on the n96 usually nokia bring the handsets in to look at. the pictures look great and if the battery life and software problems have been corrected then the handset will be ideal, it also looks thinner which is a bonus. chances are it will be available foc on a minimum of a £45 tariff on an 18 month contract, now for all users on o2 my advice is to hang on 3-4 months from the N96's launch date to check feedback on handset quality and for a price drop. ANY QUESTIONS ON ANY HANDSET AVAILABLE ON O2 POST YOUR COMMENT ON HERE AND I WILL GIVE YOU ADVICE VIA THIS COMMENT PAGE.

                    PAUL.

clearly... this is a long awaited successor of n92! in different form factor only... i bet the successor of n93i will also be a slider... because clamshells aren't too practical to USE and MAKE-the company needs to place two lcd's(more expensive to the the company), the company needs to have strongly-durable-made hinge that really demands more effort and more expensive materials than making a slider, it also demands a very small and compact design because clamshells tend to look very big even if their volume is almost the same to candybar(i.e. n95)!-that is because u have to flip the clamshell... and flipping the clamshell would make it look very big than opening a slider.
clamshells for me is very suitable design in making thin fashion phones... because they look very apealling and won't look too bulky... now if u make a feature packed clamshell the tendency is that the dimensions will increase and may not look good to majority of people because it looks too bulky when opened(though personally i like bulky feature packed clamshells coz they are eye catchers! and they look very techie)but i bet people are not open to bulky feature-packed designed clamshells. most people want candybar or slider because of their practicality.

I first encountered this in the pages of Viperkid's blogsite.

Of course, I'm expecting that this will be a much better phone in the Nseries lineup.

I will have to wait if this will become a reality and check out its specs.

                              Hope the battery life's satisfactory.

I currently use a 5700 and thinking of upgrading to a phone similar to N81, N82 or N95 has been my plan come this year's second quarter.
                              I hope this suspected N96 doesn't disappoint.

                                    It does have Wi-Fi.

I am little disappointed because I was expecting Xenon flash in the upcoming Nokia smartphones, since N82's got one. I'm not sure if I like it, It just does not bring any outstanding features. But I guess it is a good phone.
