950mAh battery. So...phone will last all of oooh 30mins or there abouts. If you are putting all these features in with the phone then at least up the mAh to over 1000. This may be the only disadvantage of the N96. Oh, and I hope they implement the same GPS module as the 6110 Navigator

                @ Savor

Yeah i agree with you, bro.. they should give phone models to last up to 5-year duration before its depreciation.. like car models, example is a Mitsubishi Lancer, they change models every 5 years before another model is brought-in..

I could care less of design like most people here. Its like street racing, who cares how sleek your car looks if it gets smoked on the road? What bothers is these marginal improvements every few months. Every manufacturer should tone down the releases. Give phones a 2yr life cycle. Not just 3-6 months. Seasonal upgrades is too soon.

The N96 looks nice enough... just like the N81... concerns are that the keypad once again is dead flat... is this a sign that Nokia are sacrificing fundamental functional design features for the sake of looks? I hope the N96 will be more stable than the N95, but as a smartphone you have to expect some issues. As for size there's only so much you can fit into any chassis and make it affordable, if you want something smaller then get an N81 or N82 dependant on your feature focus, but don't expect EVERYTHING, because they simply CANNOT please everyone. I will never buy one because of my knowledge of the poor reliability of the N95... once bitten twice shy, and I'm in no way a Nokia fanboi, but if this is released it WILL be extremely popular.

oh yea and i think really did feel back when they released a 8GB version of their phones as people already bought the original, the 16GB is probly just a regualr feature like the 5mp camera becoming so common, i mean its doesn't even say 16GB next to N96 at the top left if the phone, in all other mass memory built in phones nokia writes the capacity

So many people commenting are complaining about size and design. I'm a huge Nokia fan and honestly, no matter how bulky a Nokia phone is, I have been satisfied with the dependablity, designs, features, and durablity of the N Series nokias that I have owned. Stop complaining, or go get a motorola!! LOL!! I hate Motorola by the way...

the sliding is very much similar to the n95 but the looks is almost the same like n81... plus the size ahould be reduced now, its still big n bulky... well its almost official, i hope they dont make it official yet, something with better colour n design should be used for the coming n96.
