Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ moved to quarterly updates

The phones are three years old now. For comparison, Samsung ended support for their predecessors, the S7 series, last month.

well, Galaxy J2 core gets the update but not for Galaxy Note Fan Edition. This is ridiculous

    I will never buy again a phone from Samsung. Their phone are very good , their prices are the same with Apple but the fact they stop updating Android after 2 years and security update every 3 months is disappointing. To my mind if someone wants to spent 1000+ should buy an iPhone or a very good mid range like Realme X2 pro. Good bye Samsung .

      im more impress that samsung able to keep tracking of their phones name ... especially phones that share the same name... wth is J3 TOP? hahahaha.

            Paid so much for S8 at launch, now no android 10 and no monthly updates.
            Custom roms on S8 have major issues with camera and no volte. Check xda forum.
            Time to move on from Samsung.
