Should I call it the best smartphone design in couple of years.
Best camera placement specially for selfies.
I'm not a selfie expert but while taking photos sideways I can't look at the display because if I do the camera will take the photo at an angle and that bothers me and also if I take photos only looking at the camera then what is the advantages of having selfie camera ? I know many will disagree but this is why I don't use selfie camera .
Also seeing everything is at the middle, there must be 2 batteries.

They didn't move the cameras for horizontal gameplay....

Not even the chipset seems to be at the top as normal phones.. and the soc being in the middle has nothing to do with better horizontal gameplay (SOC performance won't change)
I'd bet the architecture of the cooling system is so dominant it forces everything in the middle or even the battery tech this phone is built cooling system first everything else secondary

I just remember lenovo phab pro, powerful enough at the time for gaming, and also it has huge display (but not too big as a tblet) and proper bezel to hold the phone while ising it for gaming. Good combination
