Poco f1 was announced in late August when the SD845 quantities were plenty for everyone and was already cheaper. It had a cheaper screen and cameras. Even mi8's price was around 350 when poco was released. Now poco/k30pro is coming in the first half of the year. Qualcomm is charging much more for SD865 and its stupid external modem. Demand from OEMs is still high. The overall build of the device is better in every single aspect compared to the first poco with higher quality components. Everything is getting more expensive in general and the new k30pro is not an exception.
Hopefully it will become cheaper towards the second half of the year at least near the price of its predecessor the k20pro.
As for the Poco brand.... Useless.

It's fake news. Don't trust it
Last year, it started at 20k+ INR
Now it's going to be around 30k or start below 30k INR
Do you think they that stupid to price at 40k+, it'll be more than Oneplus8. That'll make them look like fools. Mobile companies in India are not that fools like Apple.

High prices? Huawei+Honor are banned in Europe (no Google services), so Xiaomi just tries to replace them in the Europian market.
If you don´t like Samsung and Apple, you don´t have much choice in Europe.

So ugly looking phone they should not concentrate on their designs just taking the k30 designs and naming it. Xiaomi is now making now one design and giving their series names note , lite, Poco, k, very lite , very dark in the same body

Anonymous, 07 May 2020whered you get your numbers? the poco F1 was INR20,999 ($30... moreIn Europe Pocophone F1 was about 350 euros back in 2018, oktober or november.. But after a couple of months price was, about 300 euros or even lower. Same case will be with this one, in july or august, price of this phone will be max 300-350 euros, no more. Then again, every phone with 865 inside is more expensive, because Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, costs about 98$, just a SoC, i guess because of 5G modem. So, botton line, 865 phones are (to)expensive, right now.
Also, Xiaomi have higher prices now, compare to 2018_ maybe they wanna recover from covid situation, with ours money, so want more $, for same devices. Just look at Mi 10 Pro 5G, around 1000 euros..

Get bent, Xiaomi (and every other chinese oem, for that matter). I'd rather get an S10 for that money. Or pay even more rather than funding the CCP as much. Your phones aren't a cheaper alternative anymore, anyway.

That means for the Indian market the 128/8 OnePlus 8 at INR45000 is cheaper than the 128/6 Poco F2 Pro at INR47000. Hmm. If only the OnePlus 8 was this cheap everywhere...

I am guessing it European price. If it launches in India with this price it will flop hard. Iqoo 3, Realme X50 Pro, and Oneplus 8 will be happy in that case.

Now more & more chinese manufacturers are leaving flagship killer badge, trying to enter flagship territory.
Now with such high prices by chinese manufacturers its better to go for proper brands like LG,SONY,SAMSUNG,APPLE.

The only reason Pocophone became a big deal was due to it's "flagship killer" price. The price of the new one isn't anything special. I don't see this one getting the same kind of reception.
