MagicMonkeyBoy, 07 May 2020No. I paid them. I bought a red magic... What's the matter?... moreI don't even own an iPhone and I never have, not everyone who disagrees with you owns an iPhone. I'm just saying that you're obsessing over Red Magic to the point where it seems like Nubia is paying you to talk about when the only thing it's good for is gaming and that's it. Software is buggy, camera is okay at best, customer support is lacking but it excels at performance in general. It's not an all around good phone.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 07 May 2020No. I paid them. I bought a red magic... What's the matter?... moreYes on my brother's iPhone, he had to turn down certain things in gfx settings, turn off Bluetooth so that network performance isn't affected, close apps in memory and
Still it would overheat after couple of hours.

Too bad he switched to equally worse S20U (Exynos).
Now he plans to wait for ROG 3.

Funny part is, I am dyslexic, I'm not a reading/writing fan and English isn't even my native language, but it feel so wrong to not go through details...

Anonymous, 07 May 2020Are you getting paid by Nubia to shill for their company or... moreNo. I paid them. I bought a red magic... What's the matter? Keep losing every game you play because you have an iPhone? No wonder???

There is not much competition out there against a gaming phone. Played pubg with my friend and his iPhone 11 Pro... Complete junk for gaming... Absolute junk... I swear his 60hz screen is haunted big time... Choppy. Laggy. Slow. Lag. Ghosting as if the screen is haunted. You can't game on that...

Gave him my phone with pubg at 90fps at 90hz... Blew him away... Speakers are way better...

I don't know why people buy iphones... I felt sad. He is limited to 60hz at 60fps if he is lucky... With a price tag of over $1000... For a camera that is the lowest out of the top 10 cameraphones?

Apple. Best joke I have heard in a few years.

AnonD-909757, 07 May 2020That's partially true, well that's complicated, it depend o... moreWell said... I love gaming. I have a gaming phone. Hands down a beast. I am gaming with pubg at 90FPS with a 90hz screen. Air triggers. And an Overclocked CPU/GPU. - iPhone can't touch these gaming phones at all... Not even the slightest...

Gaming phones are the way forward. I must have absolute max extreme performance. I will win... And run circles.round everyone else literally. I play real racing 3 at 90fps Cod at 90fps and pubg at 90fps by changing the hex/string value. Unlocking the global edition to 90fps instead of 60fps. Olive oil smooth at HDR Extreme. Anti aliasing. Max performance for hours. About 92% sustained performance with fan on max. For hours. In the most demanding and intensive and lighting-split second gaming experience... Super smooth. As if it is a walk in the park for these beast of a gaming phone...

Gaming phones are utter joke - you can't have gaming device without good games.
There are some good games on Android, but those good games can be played on 5 years old low end.
There are no good games that require powerful SOC not on Android not on iOS.

But to a point of the article, that Realme X3 Pro looks really fancy, hopefuly it will be a decent device.
Power in our phones is already past a point of a reason to buy X or Y, but cameras still have a long way to even get near decent compact. .. so here is to Realme having a decent snapper.

6ix, 07 May 2020Y’all are missing what the manufacturers are trying to tell... moreThat is not true, there are still a lot of flagships with good prices. Real flagships have also goog cameras, usually the best ones. For now, gaming phones only have mediocre ones generally with only two with a decent main one but not even good and the rest only to fill the holes and the number... I think that zero of them with OIS.

They born as a cheap flagships cutting features, today they have become more expensive due to the accesories and the cooling fashion... but they still have flaws to be overall well rounded phones. And, of course, brands are not going to add the best cameras on them as they want to differentiate theme as a different product. A gaming phone with all that a flagship have and no trade offs will be more expensive than normal flagships because should have all the flaships have plus the more expensive cooling system, the accesories, extra ports, etc.

KondriX, 07 May 2020Well, in general Ithink gaming on a phone is crap.. If you ... moreThat's partially true, well that's complicated, it depend on what you count as gaming.
Officially, the statistics of peoples gaming on any device include stuff like Farmville and Candy Crush...

Many peoples into hardcore gaming will utterly refuse to consider those as video games, so some will only consider games with more actions and traditional gameplay element as games, such as all the FPS, RPG, racing etc

Some won't even consider them as serious gaming contender, which is your case, and only consider big game from big platform as games.

Even there some will consider that on PC or Console gaming is true gaming, but that's an almost sectarian vision here...

Objectively, are gaming smartphone really needed for playing smartphone games ?
For Candy Crush and other ? Clearly no !
For more ressource intensive games that are often in 3D ? They can have some really slight benefits...
So, no, you don't need gaming phone to play game on a smartphone, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't exist, I mean you don't need any RGB on your computer, nevertheless many peoples do really love them.
The same way you don't need an expensive motherboard for your PC, you only need one that have the features and specs that match your needs, of course some higher range motherboard will increase slightly your performances, but only by a tiny margin that you won't notice during real scenario (FPS counter OFF)...

But the same way some will consider PC useless for gaming or console too cheap and lacking power to really play video games, there are still lots of peoples playing games on their phones.
Of course when removing games like Candy Crush and other simple games like that, there are far more peoples in the statistics, but they still exist in relatively large number.
This literally remind me this article I read yesterday :
                      https://www.forbes.com/sites/joeparlock/2020/05/05/stop-saying-virtual-reality-is-dying

So yeah, there is no need for gaming smartphones, but some will tell you that there also is no need for video games at all...
As gamers (I am a PC gamer), we should all fight together rather than one against the other, we have far more to gain.

Need or not, Gaming smartphone are different, and diversity is really nice, mainly in the current Smartphone market that basically have phone nearly identical from each other.
And gaming phone being quite eccentric with crazy features, one of they might be responsible for a new amazing feature that we will all want and love for the smartphones, like two USB-C ports that many would love to have, and this is because, unlike regular smartphone who just wait the next iPhone and next tech (like underdisplay camera) to change, gaming phone are actually innovative, and in the end, this is a good thing !

Well, in general Ithink gaming on a phone is crap.. If you want real gaming buy yourself a xBox, PS or PC. But more and more people are gaming on phones, and that's sad, because the companies are less oriented on PC and more on phones.. I see gaming phones as usual flagships but with worse cameras and some fancy looks and many many gimmicks.

Shadocx, 07 May 2020The dude just wants smartphone with flagship cameras, he's ... moreYou know, those phone cost a lot, most peoples won't buy a gaming phone AND another regular phone, being a gamer and wanting a gaming phone, whatever is the reason :
Appearance, optimized setup with fast memories (LPDDR5, UFS 3.1), cooling performances, display etc...
But does that mean they'll use the phone ONLY for gaming ?
What if they ALSO like photography, why shouldn't they have a more expensive but gaming with no compromises (good/really good or even great) camera setup with it ?

What would you think if it was the opposite, no phone appart from gaming smartphone being able to run games ?
Is would be like, when choosing a car, you either have the choice between :
Small city car that is great for being easy to use and low consumption in city setup and good, but not fantastic at commute. (regular smartphones)
Or what are more versatile cars which here would be really excellent for commute but utter crap and almost unusable at city setup (gaming phone) rather than just good at it as they are in real life...
Or imagine if, when buying a gaming monitor, it was totally bad at anything else than gaming...

Sorry, but I really see how and why peoples wanting a gaming phone would also like to have basically the same other things than Flagship (that gaming phone are basically modified version of them).

                              I hope not.

Anonymous, 07 May 2020Then buy those ones. I prefer flagships with better cameras... moreWe are all winners with Android... Because there are absolutely excellent conventional/traditional devices. And obviously flagship/flagship killer camera phones.

And that's the great thing about Android... That overwhelming choice... Flagship/Flagship killer/Premium mainstream camera phones...

The point being here. That Android have camera phones. Basically a flagship device with a killer DSLR grade (or even better) device. Especially catering for those with a specific need for extreme quality photos... Why not?

I very much appreciate cameraphones. Very much. Don't get me wrong I am very interested in all kinds of phones including cameraphones.

But we all choose and buy according to our preference or/and needs.

And that... No other OS can deliver quite like Android. True multitasking. And currently the most powerful and fastest SoC's too on the planet. Including the universe.

                                Android = Overwhelming choice...

I think GSMArena is right on this one... It does look Gaming inspired. Definitely. Especially with that vertical strio alongside the carbon rear cover.

This is absolutely incredible! Realme! Bringing out a gaming phone. I really hope so... Why not?

I personally think every smartphone company or most at least should bring out gaming phones too. They are cutting edge. And are literally exploding in growth. This is our future.. These phones and choice is for us...

I like armored phones too. But for me... I can't have anything other than a gaming phone...

By the way... Make sure that if you have a gaming phone... Change PUBG Hex code/string value to 07... And save. This is a global version bypass to bring you 90FPS for you gaming phone...

ONLY DO THIS ON A GAMING PHONE AS THEY ARE PROPERLY OPTIMIZED AND EFFECTIVELY COOLED AND CAN HANDLE THE 90FPS FOR PUBG. (OTHERWISE YOU COULD COOK YOUR CONVENTIONAL/TRADITIONAL DEVICE).

I thought Realme X50 pro was a successor to Realme X2 pro.

Either ways, the design on the back looks super premium.
Way better than other back panels on the market with rectangular design, etc.
