SD seem like cheating consumer all the time. Single core of CPU boast up to 2.8Mhz or even up to 4.0Mhz can't help for overall performance . IF SD really want to improve, just upgrade 2 core to 2.8Mhz and also upgrade base speed to 2.0Mhz instead of 1.8Mhz.

Imagine a processor alone costing 350 bucks per unit.. then we have taxes and build, screen, battery and shipment. Everything will total to 900 dollars. 😂

Next level improvement right??. What a joke. Qualcomm is just taking their old chipsets and overclocking them to save themselves cost and to fool us into thinking they are two different chipsets when in reality, they are exactly the same darn chipset. 😡😡 Thankfully, Mediatek Dimensity series is here to give the consumers what they want. A true high powered chipset with actual innovations and an aggressive price so consumers cannot resist.. Snapdragon is in serious trouble if they don't step up their game

A competition to MediaTek Dimensity 1000L but I think the Mediatek processor would still have an edge against this.

Ap... moreI know that it usually takes at least 2 generations to start seeing significant differences between two flagship chips, but that doesn't mean newer generations are just overclocked, there are many other differences, let's take the Kirin as an example, the newer Kirin 990 has a different architecture than the 980, like many 2020 socs (sd765 included) it uses newer euv+ process which is more efficient, the gpu has 6 more cores, better npu and isp... An other example is apple's a13, we've seen it doing a great job with the old SE camera sensor, surpassing even the XR performance. My opinion is that this 768 should've been the 765 from the beginning, the top mid range processors should be able surpass the 3 year old flagship chip set at least (talking about the sd835).

Kirin 990 is just an overclocked Kirin 980. Exynos 990 is Exynos 9825 with newer cores but nearly no performance improvement.

From a little research i see that out of order exectution is something every new mobile cpu has. From qualcomms website 765 has a trust zone too.
