john, 31 May 2012Today i updatd my gs2 i9100g to ics but i found dcrease in ... moreHi... I have upgraded my I9100G to ICS....i m not happy with the upgrade as
1. Available RAM size has reduced , now its only 687 mb .....
2. I am not able to adjust brightness by draging on home screen top bar...
3. Wifi also disconnects anytime....and need to disable and enable again to connect ..
Is thr anyway to let samsung know about all these issues?

my review after ics upgrade i have non g version
1little bit slow ui n phone too
2ram is now 831 mb
3now same battery backup
4my phone not heat too much same
5settings option change
6task manager great now
7icon of battery n network change 8lockscreen
change when press regular on lock screen u see
a lock whic u have to slide out
9can not tell about wifi i never use wifi
10 screen capture by pressing volume down n
power button together for 5 seconds
11 can not tell about default browser i use only
opera n ucweb
12 music player same
13 camera has new style of settings option
14 people who are selling s2 to buy s3 are taking
wrong decision plz i m saying download ( super
video ) app from which u get power of s3 the
floating video while multitasking and if u buy
because of camera of s3 then buy secondhand
or new nokia n8 or new nokia 808
do not sell ur s2

the ram is always 1GB...it reduce to 687mb because 1/3 of missing ram is for system usage...for smoothness...i'm not having any problem with ics since the update...very smooth...no lag at all...play game with no hell freezing....687mb is enough for me...for everybody feel lag after update...just do factory reset...

recently i updated my s2 with ICS 4.0.3 update via KIES...and i have seen that my ram size decreases now its 687mb...anyone facing the same problem...or i only have this problem...

Hi all, i upgrade my I9100G to ICS. After upgrade, the RAM had been reduced from 1G to 687MB and the auto reject call icon didn't show on the notification bar. Still observing if the ICS will resolved the frequent hang issue in I9100G.

That will defanately allow you to update the Total ICS..!
