Huawei remains banned from doing business with US companies for another year

President Trump's new executive order extends the original ban for another year which means: still no Google services.

Also it only strenghtens their position in the world because they can show Huawei and similar companies that it is not acceptable to maintain a communict dicature without consequences. If they had a democracy, it would be fine because China would not feel such need to spy on other countries. Maybe read something else beside GSMarena (not that it is not a nice website haha). Also Huawei technology is just a rip-off of genuine Western technology that was manufactured in China. They have zero respect for intelectual ownership of patents and should not sell their stolen technology in the West without consequences.

        Trump hasn't been ab;e to own any shares of Huawei, nor get anything beneficial out of it, so, continue the ban until US can catch up with Huawei's 5G technology. US really has its head in the ground.

          I don't know who advises Trump on such matter. This is really making America look dull in the eyes of the rest of world and further weakening their position in the world stage.
          Surely you don't isolate someone who seem to be more knowledgeable in your certain area of interest and expect to win.
          The wiser thing they could have done was to bring Huawei closer and acquire the knowledge so that by the time they banning them, they are already ahead of them.
          By these actions, the US is just making Huawei invincible, already the company has made tremendous strides in other areas like automotive AI and it's subsidiary HiSilicon has become the second largest supplier of SOCs second only to Qualcomm. If the Americans can't see that their are actions are bringing opposite results to their intended ones, then I probably give them more credit than they deserve.

Nova 5t costs about $450 (IDR 6.899.000) when it launch in Indonesia, now it is $300 ( IDR 4.599.000) the same goes for the p30 pro, which is now officially $600( IDR 9.000.000) down from $849(IDR 12.999.000),fun fact mate 30 pro is cheaper than p30 pro when launched ( IDR 12.249.000). And the p40 pro pretty much only costs IDR 14.499.000 ($900)

                      Lol, by the time the US lifted the ban (next year), Huawei's HMS may already has most of the popular apps in it. Now, it is even possible to live with only HMS by using 3rd party app store and downloading chorme then create a shortcut to those apps that require GMS, in case of YouTube, use YoutubeVance. Maybe next year we don't even need apks. Good luck huawei.
