I am amazed of windows how it runs on sinhle core (1.5 ghz max) and it runs so fast and so smooth.and my optimus 3d has dual core and is so choppy.i am very curios of how windows will run on dual core processors.i would give away the widgets and the home screens and the themes any time to have a phone that smoot.im not a fan boy nor a guy that thinks this one is better then that one.butt onestly winfows is pretty amazing

Wish list:
1) Multiple resolution support
2) Multi core support
3) Improved Multi tasking, with support for more background services.
4) Skype support in OS
5) Multiple ARM chipset Vendor support, and x86 suuport
6) UI customization, and more effects ( ex: Wallpaper )
7) Upgrade for all existing phones ( atleast few features)

i love my WP7 its does what i want it too, but i do wish that Microsoft would step up on the release of decent games in the marketplace, i really feel that they arnt exploiting the xbox tie in enough, If this happens in WP8 than im in

it ui only rectangle that ms call tiles..how it multi task,a very restrict os,no need to scan sd,dont have Bluetooth,etc...
it system os are very simple..if android build like that,600mzh chipset is enough..basic function of phones..same with apple...think out of box please..

The OS where skype or angry birds cannot run if you have only 256 MB of ram is windows phone, not Android. The os where devices with 256 mb of ram are forced to use a version of the OS where some features have been stripped down is windows phone, not Android...

WP is much more Clean and functional OS than android. It run smooth and fast in even single core than those android with multi core.

Because if you have ever seen a speed test of a windows phone to a android the windows phone is always superior even if the specs are half as powerful as the android.

The only thing that I want to hear from this summit is ....." Old windows phones will recieve WP8 ".. ;)
Because I have just bought Samsung Omnia W and the specs are as gr8 as Nokia Lumia 800 just camera is a downside, but still plzz WINDOWS MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY :(

well , i really liked the Lumia 710 , but a specifications or should I say restrictions WINDOWS has set on it , is something I didnt like .
Windows is going the same path as Apple . Example : Dependence no ZUNE , restrictions on Blutooth Transfer . No modem connectivity . Apple is successful with Similar retrictins , Im not sure if the same would work with WONDOWS .
I hope they lift a few of those restrictions with this launch .

2x, 05 Jun 2012Yeah, right.. Don't compare your half baked Windows phone... moreWell, I actually own a Galaxy Tab 10.1, and let me tell you... even with 2 cores, the performance is TERRIBLE. Sluggish as hell. Not to mention, needs a reboot about once a week.

The best thing in The WP platforms is the refreshing to the user...May be It's not power enough to compete with IOS,Android...*cough...symbian...cough* Even the dead legend (MEGOO) but still somthing new and spechial and it will lead the other operating systems in the future...may be

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2012I have upgraded from GS II to GS III and I can see a massiv... moreand thats why most of the owners of Galaxy S2 who choose to not to buy GS3 and upgrade their phones to ICS experience some issues with ICS due to hardware, also SE Arc, Arc S, Neo & the list goes on for SE the phone comes with 2.3 out of the box and after the upgrade to ICS most of them regretted … wouldn’t U feel scammed that your phone is piece of history in less than 1 year?! … my point is this what’s the life time of Android phones?
