It will ship over there on July 24, and in Germany during the week of June 15.

    In smartphones, no other phone can give you as accurate and many colours as Sony. 4K really helps in producing this. Coupled with Bionz X1 engine. I can say, display on sony is the best. Only gamers brag about refresh rates but hey this is not gaming smartphone. Also some forums say that higher refresh TV's and Monitors indeed has poor colour accuracy compared to lower refresh rate screens.

          And yep I got a really good deal on my Xperia - headphones, 20% discount BT speaker and a case. It does not mean I will magicaly love the device because I bought it.
          My ego can sustain a fact a bought a device I am not in love with. I know it's a problem for many to admit they bought something and they are not happy with it, but it's certainly in no issue for me.

          I could have not ad the song, but I did, because I wanted, I feelt like it's apropriate to a quality of conversation we are having here. If your feelings were hurt in a process then I am dishonestly sorry.

            If u into photography, then u should know Sony got the most hated color science in actual camera world lol, especially it takes on the greens & skin tones. But its improving overtime, by each new series.

            Canon & Fuji color science the best at the moment.

                Probably need to grow up and talk like a mature person. Otherwise, this conversation is going nowhere.
                As for the phone, if you are using Sony, you probably would have put up some thoughts to it or probably got a sweet deal on it. If you had done research and still bought it, you'll know the 1 II will be a better phone for your own use than the competitors like Samsung, Apple, LG.
                If not, then this phone does not meet your expectations and you should look away to another brand.

                                Anonymous, 26 May 2020The amount of sony haters in this post is ridiculous I've said it once, I'll say it 1000 times. People don't hate Sony. People hate Sony prices in comparison with other manufacturers.
                                Yes, maybe Samsung has high prices too. But, at least it gives you some cheaper alternatives. Don't want/afford Note 10+, get Note 10. The same with S10+ and S10 lite. Or some A series.
                                Sony is releasing 1 flagship, 1 mid-range and 1 low-end per year. And they are all more expensive than what the competition offer in the same price range. Why? Just because is Sony, just for the experience? I tried Sony phones, they are ok, but certainly not worth the higher price. Is the same Android (with some minor added things), that you will find on Samsung, Xiaomi, Realme, Huawei phones. So why pay extra?

                                Also, Sony has done nothing in recent years to convince people to not buy Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi phones and buy Sony ones. That is why their sales are down year after year, because people have saw better priced alternatives.

                                    S20 samsung is not that great.
                                    It have excellent specs but One UI is same crap like other UIs.
                                    Having a Samsung internet in a phone and a google chrome at same time is completely pointless and both act like a part of the OS.
                                    And this is just one of many examples with One UI.

                                      Display set to 4K and your battery went from 100% to 0 in just 42 minutes.
                                      Its a marketing gimmick.
                                      CPU and GPU upgraded but noone uses 4K in cell phones because the battery will be drained too fast.
                                      4k screen on a 6 inch phone is completely useless.
                                      As i said in my previous post its like to give a phone 64GB ram or a 200TB disk space.
                                      Sony investing in stupidity. Nowdays people needs usefull not useless technologies.
                                      On a large 70 inch TV 4K or even 8K have sense.
                                      But on a small cellphone anything above and beyound 1440p is a complete waste.
                                      Even the 720p is good enough with excellent brightness and high nits.

                                        I really wish Sony to see this thread of comments and stop launching or just keep it as a Guest Entry in US.
                                        Clearly, it is not a phone that are targetting the cheap Chinese phones like Realme, Fake Me, MI, Oppo, vivo and so on.
                                        This is the phone that keeps all things relevant. You don't have to take a DSLR or become a pro photographer with this phone. It is that versatile. Point and shoot and make some genuine changes later. Not like making Mars look like Earth using filters and all.
                                        I really wish Sony was still in some good markets that they exited.
