It doesn't even manage to beat the S20 plus which is sporting pretty much the same sensor.
The S20U, OnePlus 8 pro, Huawei p40 pro click much better images.
Looks like Sony messed up the software part yet again. SMH.

by the way 4K display is just mar... moreIt's not a gimmick but it's just Sony being ahead of our time. 4K will be mandated on flagships and if that happens, remember to think that Sony innovated it after so long.
Sure it'll take years for 4K content to be streamlined but I rather have advanced gimmicks that will be a standard for years if they're persistent enough than to have an advanced gimmick that will be abandoned after a year and I'm looking at LG's Hand ID or anything "modular".

Sony is using much better sensor, yet LG is using much faster lens ... could be interesting because LG had one of the best ultrawides.
That eye focus on Sony is pretty great, can't wait to try it myself. Eye focus on Xperia 5 was rather unimpressive so they had a lot of room for improvement.

Fearghast, 26 May 2020Same sensor size, similar colour grading, similar Pro aplic... moreI get what you're saying but the camera system of the V60 is no way near Xperia's. Especially the autofocus and ultrawide. V60 lacks a telephoto too. Plus Xperia has Zeiss optics. Let's wait for the reviews.

Haters gonna hate. This is the best choice for anyone who cares and serious about colours and camera. Price is also not insane compared to OP8 Pro or even S20+.
You're getting headphoens for free for that Price. So you're only paying 950 for mobile which is lessthan OP8 Pro Price (1070 with charger).

by the way 4K display is just marketing gimmick for draining your battery ultra fast on a 6 inch screen no human can spot differences between FHD and 4k.
Its just waste of money.
Its like having 32 or 64GB ram in phone when phone cant even use or need 8GB of ram.

Realme managed to sell 35 million phones in 2 years while Sony struggled to get past 10 million in the last 2 years.

Why added another clone with perforated screen, curved border, very saturated and yellowish image, colored back, large camera module at the back, useless 20:9 screen ratio, Mono speakers or under the lower edge, no jack ? If that's what you want, there are tons of them on the market.
This Xperia 1II has a normal, efficient and complete design.
