A... moreMini/micro LED is an evolution of /inorganic/ LED technology, which is why it shouldn't have the longevity issues of OLED. Given that modern LCDs are built on inorganic LED backlights while OLEDs contain no traditional LEDs, in a sense mini/micro LED is closer to an evolution of LCD.

It is a fact of life and a significant downside to what would otherwise be a clearly superior technology. Why do you think Samsung, the world's largest OLED manufacturer, has thus far avoided making an OLED TV?; because the longer expected lifespan is still an issue for the technology.

The slightly higher price is most likely to do with the size of the display and not the quality.

Samsung has an insane amount of software issues, look at Android Authority's article. Its sales of the S20 have slumped a lot. Xiaomi and realme make good handsets but many models are recycled or rebranded.

This is why bottom two models sport the Lcd and top two variants sport the Oled on the upcoming iPhone 12.

And microleds not even out some Samsungs TVs will be out very soon with microled which is an evolution of AMOLED and OLED and not LCD
