Hi,
I am Rajesh From Hyderabad, India.

I bought a Nokia E7 smartphone, which is very worst in use,
Automatically gets re-start, sometimes call gets hang which leads to call disconnection. and application in Nokia are too worst, i dont know why nokia is still using Symbian. all applications are look like Flash games, there one good option that is downloading songs free of cost but, now for that aslo they are charging,

i borrowed Nokia E7 for Rs. 27000, which is not at all worth for even Rs.10000. If i get chance to hit Nokia Company i will hit them very badly, Stupid manufacturers and stupid technology they use.

Back in 2008, my Nokia 5800 sold ALONE 3 millions. For Pete's sake, what Nokia board of director where thinking? Or didn't they think at all? How could they kill Symbian without other OS who could handle what they offered at the time? I'll never understand how these companies still hook up themselves with M$ when the chance of failure is so great!

I WANT NOKIA TO PLAY WITH THE THREE HORSES OF ITS OWN..

nokia is the company which can kill android phones in just few months with a technological lead. but mr. elop is eager to kill symbian instead..

at first he announced the death of symbian, and then he killed the meego os as soon as it born. meego was the sencond choice for me, after symbian. MEEGO OS FEELS FAMILIAR TO A SYMBIAN USER WHILE WINDOWS PHONE 7.5 IS COMPLETELY ALIEN. a symbian user truly enjoys using nokia n9, while nokia lumia 800 becomes really boring after sometime.
THE HUGE USER BASE OF NOKIA USING SYMBIAN POWERED PHONES COULD GET TRANSFORMED INTO MEEGO USER..

i want myriad alien dalvik on all the symbian n meego powered devices.. we all know it enables android apps to run on other OSes. and the main issue for symbian or meego is apps only.. AND IT IS THE ISSUE WITH WP7 ALSO.(i know what u r thinkin.. wait for wp8.. ryt?)

why can't he let symbian and meego grow..? i want a symbian or meego phone having all the fucntionalities that a modern os has, with a quad-core processor, with 1gb ram, a dedicated gpu, a full hd amoled display.. but it MUST be a 'symbian or meego-powered' phone. n i can spend more money on it than money req for iphone5 or galaxy s4 or htc one x.. there are millions of ppl who think this way. but the 'intelligent' ceo doesn't understand the legacy of symbian os..

I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF POSSIBILITIES WITH WP8 N LATER'. I KNOW IT CAN (WILL) CHANGE THE GAME.. I KNOW THAT THE WP8 AND WINDOWS 8 SHARE THE SAME CODE. BUT STILL, THERE ARE MILLIONS OF PPL WHO R NOT MUCH COMFORTABLE WITH THOSE 'TILES'.. N I'M ONE OF THEM..

Nokia is hot, they are just a few months from making a strong comeback. Lumia US sales are doing fine.

What most people here are forgetting is the the Lumia series has not been released everywhere at the same time. For the most part Lumia was on the shelves only near the end of the quarter in most countries. The second quarter numbers will be more important because most models of Lumia will be available in most countries in Q2. I can understand why sales dropped during Q1 as customers want to wait for the better, newer product. Why get a symbian or meego phone if they are on the discontinued list?

I bought my wife the Lumia 710 and I am totally impressed by the OS. Android and iOS look clunky in comparison. While Nokia isn't out of the forest, I don't think they should be counted for dead either.

With projections that means within the not too distant future they will sell nothing, zero, nil, nada.

Sleeping with the enemy M$ could be the end of Nokia.

I have no sympathy with Nokia... They are so big headed they thought a very unpopular Windows Phone OS will suddenly become popular because they are involved. If they chose the right path or even just make phones for all platforms like Samsung do and produce more phones to whatever is selling well.

I would of certainly bought a pureview phone on Android for example.

Nokia may go into liquidation because selling a few million windows phone can't keep them a float for too long. Even Symbian is far more popular than Windows Phone...

At least in US, Nokia Lumia 710/800 was not available as unlocked version that could be used on t-mobile/at&t. China was a big market and Chinese most likely waited for Lumia launch in late March/early April. So 2.2 million without Chinese launch doesn't look bad at all. Most people don't think in a wholistic way and that's the problem giving out numbers without much explanation.
