why would nokia used android os? infact symbian and nokia belle is enough. nokia doesnt need dual, quadcore. why would samsung android fans are here? infact this is nokia accomplishment. if you keep on insisting your favorite os here, you are loser!

Actually, they didn't sell them, that's the number of phones shipped to sellers.

very well done by nokia..i love nokia.and i think nokia is back on the market..and just one thing to all other brand user.just remember it when nokia comes with android no one can stop to being topper in smartphone.
android have many problems with os.battery problem is very big.only gmail support push mail.
dosnt mean any think..

nokia lumias are pure abominations. it literally takes away what nokia has been all along. i have had nokia up till e7 and i personally enjoyed every single one of it. nokia used to be in the top for its innovation. 3.5mm jack, tv out, radio transmitter etc. i know theyre not the first to invent but they actually made these features popular. I remember the rest of the pack like sony ericsson playing catch-up just to be in the same league with nokia.
but now they have lost it. windows phone is not nokia's trade mark, symbian and meego is.

There is a very interesting point in the article, that i really cannot understand.
We all see that Quad Core CPUs in phones are just a Selling Point for the selected brand. When you take a Galaxy S2 phone and a HTC one quad core phone, flagships, and a normal 1.4ghz Andorid single core phone ... there is not a single difference in the performance of the operating system. Where the S2 somehow lags more than normal.
So, to put 4 cores when Android can only cope with one, and a faster core is better with that OS, is just a joke, and many users and buyers are fulled by shire numbers and specs.
If WP can run smooth on ONE core, there is no point in having 4 cores, right. Apollo will bring the numbers up, and the main performance increase will be seen in the games, but the OS experience will continue to be as smooth as with the current Gen 2 WP Smartphones.

This article says everything for all them deluded people who dont realise that nokia, and more so, Windows mobile, need to really up their game. Seriously. Heres hoping they do, because the more i can sell, the more money i can make. Until then, i have not, and will not recommend any of windows mobile over ios or android
