That is what the SIII should have been, no, needed to be to make sure it stays ahead of the competition.
Plus LTE for all, thinner (not thicker) and slimmer bezel.

Samsung had to double take on the SII (uping to 1.2GHZ) and then with Galaxy Tab (delayed launch and made it thinner to counter iPad). You would think they would have learned. S3 will sell well right now, but with quality issues like screens shattering when dropped and being matched by the competition even before launch, people will soon have other devices to choose that are similar or better.

Samsung need to rethink their game for the SGS4 if not sooner.

i have a feeling its because they rushed the s3 out and couldn't find a way to make lte work with the new quad-core until now. why cant they release just one f***ing version worldwide so i dont go buying a version only to find out 2 weeks later they're coming out with a better version. samsung is one of the big reason android is so fragmented! but hey, at least they kept the design right? f***ing bloody bastards!

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2012as i always said:korean unfinished toy. price drop dramatic... moreThen why your believe Apple beg Samsung to build their IPhone?
            http://blog.gsmarena.com/samsung-allegedly-chosen-to-supply-the-next-gen-apple-a6-cpu-regardless-of-legal-quarrels/

Apple is nothing without Samsung's help, And Apple use a dirty policy to keep their old hags "IPhones" expensive by resell the used one as high as possible to eliminate the chance of price drop, Most of used ones sold on Ebay or other websites are from Apple inc.

What kind of phone sold with signal loss issue! It is a phone and its main job to keep the signal alive for communication! It failed to do its main purpose.

Not only is it the first quad core LTE smartphone, but also 2GB RAM. The most important question is will it function properly? What compromises does the phone have versus the global version?

Why American version it's dual-core and korean version it's quad-core and both support LTE? that's sucks. I don't wanna buy the phone no more.

Uh oh, and with this news, all the fanboys are removing their s3 preorders because this is the version they MUST have. The other S3 is obsolete trash now. Samsung why did you show this?

For those thinking international S3 should have more ram - Samsung struggles to ship enough DRAM as is - Why use more when 1GB will do?

Supplying a smaller, home market with 2GB is good PR but ultimately in perspective they'll sell far more S3 in the US - this should keep the cost down, lower supply chain pressure, and maintain decent perfromance all the same time.

The Galaxy SIII's equalizer doesn't save any custom equalizer settings if the clarity level under "extended options" is changed. In other words, you won't get the expected audio quality.

Here are the 3 threads to follow up with the equalizer bug:

We want an equalizer that saves our settings.
