1)A PS5 will last 5 to 7 years without any fees.

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2020Found another guy with pointless facts.. so same words for ... moreYou don't understand that Microsoft & Sony are buying every component in bulks ?
        Bulks of Hundreds of thousands.
That's why they're able to sell 3000$ hardware for less than 700bucks.
That's also why they make almost 0 profit out of theirs consoles sales.

Guys, you can argue whatever you want, this is the facts :

1)A PS5 will last 5 to 7 years without any fees.

2)Building a PC capable of running PS5 game at PS5 quality & framerate is
gonna cost you at least 3000$.

3)You're gonna have to regularly update your hardware with new CPUs and GPUs, because there's no point of having a PC if you don't have the BEST graphics in the business. A CPU alone is worth almost two PS5, and graphic card, four.

4)If the PS5 dies, you can just buy another one for less than a CPU.

5)Sure, games will always look better on a PC with a $1000 CPU and a $2500 card.

6)But with this gen of console, the gap between PC & PlayStation is gonna be tight. real tight. So does it still worth spending $4000 on a machine that needs $2000 hardware updates fees every couple of years ?

But ray tracing is a thing does work way deeply.. Even AI has NOTHING to do with these console because any of these consoles either no amd enterprise cards don't come with deep learning and rt cores.. For the newer architecture gen, amd using some kind of techniques which will help to apply hardware grade software implementation of ray tracing and light physics surely not effective as physical rt cores.. These consoles are meant to make Real Time Raytracing mainstream. This is next gen lighting effects where there is no need to manually apply Raytracing by hand and let the matured AI to do the Raytracing (technically, movies had already done that). If PS5 and XSX can't do as you say so then it's going to be PS4, XO and Watch_Dogs all over again where the graphics from the game's trailer is actually incapable in the real hardware..

Another guy with no ideas what he's saying.. I bet you at time of ps5 or Xbox sx available on market all older cards will price go down by half.. And the card of Xbox sx should be similar as 2070s in term of raw performance.. So it'll be possible to make a high end pc under 800$ with 2080s and so on.. Where I can do all in that pc than just gaming associated by deep learning and ray tracing cores..

There is a significant bulk price discount that is being passed on to us here, and honestly they're probably still losing money. That is the standard model for this kind of stuff, they remake the money on subscriptions and games.

You get what you pay for, if you want a $300 console, stick with the current generation until the next one is cheaper. Bleeding edge is never cheap.

You demand a console that can run games at the same levels as a high end gaming PC but you're only willing to pay a tenth of the cost. I read comments from people who say they can play free games on one such launcher or another but ignore the fact that they paid thousands of dollars for the PC needed to do it. And the people who say they will just buy the new Xbox instead, both systems will likely have comparable price tags. Yes the price is high, but if you want a high-end product, you pay a high-end price.

Specially IT and Tech solutions, which doesn’t require huge manpower. A 2.5$ Indian employee/labor is not equal to an employee receiving 20$ every hour.

My main point is, charges for internet has no relation to this. Food, yes, rent, yes, transport also yes, but price of mobile, price of internet, price for in game purchase, has no relation. Infact there are many developed nations which have much cheaper internet. For example Japan or south korea. Infact south korea has cheaper speed to cost ration internet than India.
