This is a very big problem and I hope the xda-developers focus all their attention on this fatal S3-problem! Installing games should never risk not being able to receive sms or e-mails... because of not enough memory!

For nicer and modern games, it's obvious that they ll use more disk space (Just look at Nova 3 and its 1.7gb data) so for that point, that's for now a big let down for GS3 for me.

AnonD-1816, 13 Jun 2012Do u have SIII in your hand now? pls check how much dedicat... moreYes i got mine for 10days now, we got 11gb of installable memory for apps, only. (Beware guys, don't fill it, else you won't be able to receive SMS and prolly other functions!! Happened to me).

Games requires often now 100mb-2gb per installation, that's why i m asking anyone who got the update if now we get a fix "move to sd".

It's a good point that the phone has an external sdcard slot, but would be far better if it could be used for not only storing photos / videos / documents.

m86k, 12 Jun 2012Can anyone tell me if Samsung fixed the Move To SD function... moreAll the 11.35 Gb internal memory-card is available for installing apps, so it is not as on S2 where apps could be moved from the 2 Gb memory dedicatad for installing apps to the internal 11 Gb memory-card! The problem on S3 is that Gamedata from big Gameloft... games can not be moved from the internal 11 Gb memory-card to the external 32 or 64 Gb external sd-card!

AnonD-1816, 13 Jun 2012Do u have SIII in your hand now? pls check how much dedicat... moreOn S2 I could move Gameloft, and other, gamedata to the external sd-card with the app "gl to sd" but that is not possible on S3, and the 11.35 Gb internal memory is not big enough for installing many big games and maps for "Copilot"...!

It is not a windows7 running pc, that u will need gigs of memory to install application. and moving application to memory card makes ur phone slow.

Can anyone tell me if Samsung fixed the Move To SD function with this update ? Does it appear now in applications menu?

I found out that no reviewer noticed that, we can't move installed apps on external SD cards on GS3 out of their boxes atm. Meaning once you filled your internal memory with apps, you are stuck if you want to install more!

The one X had issues but got updates to resolve the problem pretty damn quick. Not sure there is a lot to complain about. Both are great handsets. My iP4s has been ina drawer for almost 2 months now!
