G Force, 26 Jun 2020Unnecessarily hyped phone, there better options in Market, ... moreTo the ones who say how there are better options, you should first check the size of this mobile! There are very very few phones under 6inch and this year this is the only one so far. This could be a good phone, but I fear the battery life will be too low. I will wait for a review here and then I will decide.

apprise, 26 Jun 2020 I understand 730 is built on a 8 nm so it will be power ef... moreas the screen size is going to be small (around 5.8 inch i think), putting bigger battery means thick phone in 10mm territory or more.... And they don't want to put effort into hardware redesign so smaller battery is the easy way out

Unnecessarily hyped phone, there better options in Market, also price Pixel phone are higher in most of the countries.

But still NSA phone is better than Chinese.

apprise, 26 Jun 2020 I understand 730 is built on a 8 nm so it will be power ef... moreI have a pixel 3 and I get around 5 hours sot... 4a will easily get more than 6 hours sot... So I think for a normal user is more than enough for one day usage...

Luckily, people such as myself who prefer stock android, don't have to settle on Google's tiny 3000mah battery. There are Nokia and Motorola phones with bigger batteries!

I understand 730 is built on a 8 nm so it will be power efficiency but I don't think it justify small 3000 mah battery. Are Google scared to put a slightly larger battery in their phones.

Google will have a lot of competition here UK and Europe. Especially how it's been less than 18 months since RealMe, Oppo, Xiaomi entered the UK markets and they have fantastic mid rangers for good price. And then u have Samsung's A range and Motorola

This isn't America where our mid range market is dead. It's booming here . U can get the 8GB/128GB model of the Realme 6 pro for £300 in which has the Snapdragon 720G compare that to the 730, the 720G wins in alot of areas

Pricing is the only thing which can save Pixel4a.

iPhone SE 2020 hit the market first with latest SoC in iOS relam and is reaping it's benefits.
One+ is releasing an affordable phone at very competitive prices.
Both the above phones have good software updates records. iPhone is already available in market and One+ will be available soon. We can safely assume that buyers will have good on hand experience with both the phones. Unless someone is disappointed with them only then Pixel4a will get some ground. But that's a very bleak possibility to happen.
Pricing is the only option left for them to get it's foothold in this segment. If they put a tag which is above iphone and One+, Pixel4a would a huge disappointed, though it carries goodies of a pure Android genes.

Pixel4a has seriously missed the most potentially profitable time of its launch.
