APPLE. The god of mobile phone. Superb camera, excellent audio and display.. Very good battery backup( iPhone 4S). And the iOS.. Oh god, plz bring the iPhone 5 and make history in universe.. Attention Samsung users, get ready to sale out ur old Samsung phone. Apple rocks.......

I always liked SE but got of the "wagon" after the g900 when they didn't know what the hell they were doing and were messing about doing crap with the first xperia phones...
The X2 was dead before it hit the shelves... releasing it with way too crappy specs... (X2 110 MB storage, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM) I' mean f.eks the omnia 2 that was released before the X2 had 2/8/16 GB storage!!!
No matter what they always had (at least) one thing that makde their phones a "no deal" low internal memory... f.ex when choosing between SGS and X10
SGS: 8 GB/16GB storage, 512 MB RAM, 2GB ROM vs. X10: 1 GB storage, 384 MB RAM... EASY choise = SGS
next
SGS2: 16GB storage, 1 GB RAM, dual core vs. seXarc: 320 MB storage (I mean C'MON!!!), 512 MB RAM, Single core... Again easy choise (despite the cool SE phone name) ;-)
"Once they finalize ONE SONY in the market you will see all SONY FEATURES IN ONE GADGET -walkman -alpha -cybershot -playstation..." ME LIKEY!!! IF they get it right this time... c'mon sony lots of ram, storage, cores, and heaps of conectivity etc. then I might be on your side again ;-)

I can only say, Samsung and Apple are both great in marketing. They manage to get a loyal fan base out there. Do they really have the best phone? It's disputable, but they do have the best sales. And often, people thinks best sales = best phone, which is not the case actually. I observed that a lot of people are buying phones, especially for the case of SGS II and SGS III, are by word of mouth. But then again, when I have a SGS III, of course I will tell you it's the best, and not giving a fair comparison with other phones in the market. So in a way, majority of the buyers, who actually doesn't know much about phone, are influenced to buy what they hear is good.

I like both samsung galaxy s2 and iphone 4s
the problem is that most android devices are the same with only minor differences in hardware. i started hated my samsung galaxy s2 when it was upgraded to ics, that was when all the problems started and God Save Ebay and i sold it both. iphone 4s i like it only because most apps are much smoother than android. but i hate it cuz it is alot slower than galaxy s2.
at the moment i am using galaxy mini and cant wait to get a new phone cuz it is bloody slow. i am not going for galaxy s3 as it looks crap and it is too big and has useless extra features.
the point is both companies are good but other companies like sony, htc. lg, moto and nokia also has good products. i am either waiting for WP8 from Nokia or Iphone 5 or a new Jellybeans device from google

Problem is the competition just isn't up to it...
HTC = Nice designs (inc. UI) but lacks some features (microSD slot + removable battery) and not the best hardware.
LG = Generally poorer than the rest, poor customer support but is cheaper than the rest.
