Corbin, 28 Jun 2020Same here. I love it too. It's like a whole new phone, isn't it?!The new gestures and dark mode are amazing but the way it looks and feels isn't the best. It's not going well with the software in my opinion.

It happened for my phone the other day and I didn't know what was happening I got the Stylo 5 about six months after it came out and it has never worked right and they updated a couple days ago it updated and now it's doing all kind of stuff. I have to get back to you and let you know what I actually think at this point

I just got mine yesterday. It is definitely snappier in its movements, however why no freakin' changelog is beyond me....the camera showed some goofy tip that it really didn't need to and I missed a cute moment...ah, alas--at least they won't keep dropping updates until the phone is unusable, unlike Apple...

Karen88, 28 Jun 2020Battery now drains faster. Don't like that I have to clear ... moreYou actually can pick and choose which apps you leave running in the recent pages section. Instead of hitting 'clear all' you can scroll through and to close one specific app/window you just swipe it upward.

Battery now drains faster. Don't like that I have to clear all instead of just closing the windows on each app so if I have 2 are 3 apps open now I have to clear them all and go back to the ones I had open. Plus hate the apps on the phone they look hideous. Plus the clock on the screen is to small like the sylo 3 much better since the apps and clock are way better. Plus it's no good when you have to clear all and then have to go back and reopen the apps you already had open since you can't just close one app and leave the others open The sylo 5 sucks.

While I'm not complaining as I was desperately needing dark mode for Gmail, I can say that It was a very eye opening experience after the install of Android 10 was completed in my LG Stylo 5.
I think the most confusing at first was the "binding together of all of my visual notifications onto a single series of threads. I wasn't expecting it and at first couldn't tell if my messages were emails, texts or from social media messages that were from people I knew. It was super confusing at first as I hadn't expected all that information to be cataloged all on one page. After a couple of days noe, I think I have the format down as to what direction Google was trying and quite successfully achieved by this update. If I could give one piece if advise, it would be to find a time of the day when you know that there will be very few companies or individuals who will be attempting to reach you and use that time to download and orient yourself to the new software. In my case I had messages, emails and misc. Businesses that were hitting me from all different sources which literally overwhelmed me after the install was completed.
There are still a couple if areas that dark mode doesn't seem to be enabled, mostly in the Google news feeds of the assistant sections. It appears that this may be limited due to the contributor upload and not directly related to Google or the Android update.

So devices like this get android 10 or the a01 that's a cheap cheap one come with it. When flagships just a little older don't even get it.
