Kuo: Apple will ship iPhone 12 without chargers, earphones

Ming-Chi Kuo and analysts at Barclays both say so. Also, Kuo predicts a new iPad is coming this year, a new iPad mini next year.

Will they keep the charger on high-end pro models?

It's really unnecessary to have more chargers since you already have cables and adapters if you are a previous iPhone user.

          Apple claims it stifles innovation! They've made a fortune selling their proprietary cables and dongles. It also shows on the dreadful quality of their cables. Planned obsolescence at its best.

            Ditch the charger, ditch earphones, next the battery and pay for it separately. won't be long apple will ask you to buy a paid subscription for each time to turn on your phone.
            And because apple does it rest of the OEM's follow the same. 'coz you know, mobs are just some dumb cash cows to be exploited. If apple can do it, why not us?
            Stop buying these nonsense for a couple of years and hold on to your current device instead of keep buying new devices yearly like a subscription. Once they're low on sales you can see them change gears fast.

              This, if true, is a move to maintain profit margin. No more, no less.

                    Apple quite frankly don't care if you think they are gone nuts, either way android manufacturers will most likely copy them, multiple companies have actually, considered this and are currently considering this, due to mass electronic waste, most likely everyone who is buying a new phone already has a charger. Please just read what you post before pressing that big ol' submit button, it really makes you look idiotic, and make you look like a plain boring, non-original iOS hater, for the sake of hating apple.


                      Apple don't do this.
                      You are a speciality and don't break it.
                      Adapter is a part and parcel for a cell phone and so does earphone.

                                  Pretty smart move. These "new" devices cater to a market of Apple fans (bc lets be honest, someone who buys their first Iphone doesnt immediately get the latest one), those who most likely already have a charging brick and headphones.
                                  This is a clever way to save costs and lower the price.

                                    Employ : than no charger for you, you have one already. But hey you can sell your iPhone x without the charger for a lower price or even better we can recycle it for free, it is eco friendly :D

They wanted all phones with USB-C in them, so you can use your old charger instead and so manufacturers can stop including one. This hasn't been made law yet, but EU is known for stupid decisions, just to throw some "eco-PR" bs.
                                        But when it'll actually become law in EU, Apple will say "see, we're already eco-friendly, we're better". Or something like that.
