There are rumors of a significant price hike. The fast charging will be geared towards gaming phones, which typically have large batteries.

USB C PD (power delivery) is the best way forward. This allows charging laptops and just about every USB C device! Hope manufacturers realise this to avoid wasting time & resource on other methods because this leads to eco waste(disaster). So plse don't be stupid.

My biggest interest is if it will have the 5G modem built-in.
Also, I expect ~900K in AnTuTu 8.
Regarding the prices, I wouldn't worry. As more and more manufacturers will use the SoC, production costs will decrease.
Let's just hope that it won't require active cooling!
