Charging 250$ for a mobile SoC like we're buying a core i7 or ryzen 7... NO THANKS.
I'm thinking of buying the next gen Apple iphone SE which will be running at about +70% single core speed compared to snapdragon 865+ instead.
Qualcomm actually makes Apple Iphone SE seem like a pretty good upper mid grade/lower highend value option nowadays.
Otherwise, MTK Dimensity series already offers good value higher tier android SoCs, then Huawei SoCs, etc.
People have to stop buying Qualcomm and encouraging them to sell us +30% improvements for +80% cost from generation to generation!

Rumors about snapdragon first said there will not be any launch of a 865 plus version.. Its obvious they will do the launch in Asus Rog phone 3. It was supposed to be an over clocked version of 865 not to be called as 865+. Not much right here...
SD865+ : Waiting in the corner. Been ready/hungry for about 6 month.
Asus : Waves with the biggest stack of cash. Wins the race.
Samsung : EU brainwash campain Exynos will rule the world...

All we need now is for solid state batteries to become mainstream. They are more durable, cheaper, slimmer, produce less heat, and charge rapidly without needing tricks from external sources. They are also safer, expect them to be used in electric vehicles and drones.
5nm SoC will greatly improve battery life, same goes for Apple's A14 chip which will feature in the iPhone 12. Assuming of course, you don't do crazy things like 5G connectivity on all the time, 120Hz always-on display etc.

Qualcomm SoC is more advanced technology and more stuff inside. Does Ryzen have modem? how much power it consumes? its a desktop component, you cannot compare it with anything in mobile world.
ok, my bad, it supports 5th gen of RAM, its not part of the SoC.
