[deleted post]Totally agree. FullHD (1920x1080) is standard res for 21"+ monitors now compare this to 50"+ TV! LOL Some people are ridiculous they are expecting high end devices for the buck...

BTW Display in LG L5 is a lot better than in Samsung Ace with same res on 3.5 inches.

yeah I also surprised when it said HVGA, while having 4" display. even my dual core phone only have 3.8" with WVGA res.

well, let's just wait for it's actual performance, we can't judge a phone just by it's spec. I hope gsmarena will give review for this.

AnonD-36731, 18 Jun 2012It can handle ICS on a low spec because it is only pushing ... moreQualcomm MSM 7225A, probably running on Adreno 200 or at best 205.

The MSM 7227 ran on Adreno 200, this one has a different processor class, wich changes de SoC, but probably the GPU is a Adreno 200 or 205.

                    AnonD-56684, 18 Jun 2012Too low a resolution for a 4" devices.I absolutely agree. 320 x 480 really does not belong on a 4" screen. They should'va made it smaller.

I'd take the Motorola Motoluxe over this one. It's also got a 4" screen, but way higher screen res (480 x 854) and it's widescreen and not this silly 4:3 format. it's also a entry level phone, but as it's been on the market a few months, it's price has already started to drop a little. Sure, doesn't have ICS, but that doesn't really mean anything and entry-level phones. ICS steals more reasources, and with limited HW, that really matters.

Anonymous, 18 Jun 2012Agree Even 1Ghz is out of date.. 800Mhz on 2012? Sounds weirdWhat did you expect? Entry level phones are basically cheap toy.

I rather recommend "dumbphones" over any of these, but that's just my opinion.

                        SE Xperia X10
                        Motolora Atrix

There phones were all flagships 2 years(Atrix one year ago) and they had either better or at least equivalent specs as Samsung Galaxy S and non of them received update or at least something. At least Galaxy S got something unlike them.

A hypocrisy of fanboys(especially Sony fanboys) showing here is absolutely disgusting.

As a matter of a fact, Sony hasn't provided ICS Xperia U and it's still on Gingerbread and all the other brands yet provide ICS updates for all of their mid-range phones.

I understand that not everyone can afford SGS3 and if you ask me which is the best option for entry level android phone that does decent job then I lean forward to HTC One V.

It has ICS out of the box. Not bad specs. Fairly cheap.

This LG has 800 mhz processor,512mb ram and running android 4.0 ICS. Makes me laugh when I've asked samsung about updating my Galaxy S i9000 with 1ghz processor and 512mb ram, and they told me that i9000's hardware is too old for ICS. :))) Samsung, you are a BIG lyer!!
