I agree about resolution. Its just too low. Samsung Ace has HVGA on 3,5" and it look dim so here it will be even worse.
If they dont want to use 480x800 because it would be jump to high end devices level why they dont use some intermediate resolution, 360x640 maybe? I thought that Android apps can be scalable so any resolution could be used...

This site prefers larger phones. I see they have struggled again here calling this 4" phone 'entry-levele' :)

It can handle ICS on a low spec because it is only pushing 25% of the pixels of other 4" phones.
For some reason GSMarena has left the GPU element out of the specs.

Not so cheap... compare it with the sony xperia U, which has a dual core 1.0 ghz processor, also 320x480 is a low resolution and on a 4'' screen will make your phone look like a low-end phone with big pixels, I'd rather get the 3,5'' 480x854 screen of the xperia U. So this L5 will have a hard time. The only thing better is that it has the SD card slot.

I'm usually agaist the plague of entry level phones, but what I've realised is that they are given ICS, which I respect as not everyone can or is willing to pay top dollar for a handset and it shouldn't mean they should get an old OS.
