Im also a one X user...been using it for more then aa month and so far the phone is awsome...i have had no issues with it so far..at home its always connected to WIFI and never got any issues for the same....i think the phone is one of the best of HTC

HYC have stated they will not replace any handsets...
if you have the issue then youll get refurb or repair and even then from the many storie found your returned phone will either..
a... be returned damaged
b... or not even fixed.
unless they give out some method of finding the newer fixed revision im jumping ship to the new LG quad core.
all the best bits of One X and S3 even has close to stock android ice cream.
wish HTC had spent more time with Quality Control and less with cutting corners :(

I have had a one x for 6 weeks and it performed perfectly in every way,
I am 100% happy with this phone.
I think there are a lot of people that don't own the phone but like to have
a moan, I would suggest maybe getting a job then they would have
less time to write crap!

Dont buy HTC ever again, hopefully they go out of business and the leadership team starve to death as they become unemployable.

One X user here, the unit i have has slight flex issues but only will appear if u press super-hard on it. Other than that, the unit is perfect, tweaking here n there gives the battery additional 14 hours. Did not face any Wi-Fi nor 3g issues. Furthermore, a complaint was made regarding the 3 dot issue, 3 days later I got a call from a Taiwan rep to solve my problems together with 2 follow-ups. + 1 for the cust service.

You're holding it wrong lol.. WTF?? One would have figured that after the big scene the iPhone 4 created with the poor reception due to it being held the wrong way (lol..) HTC would have figured out to make the HTC One X/XL to be held the regular way without it losing phone reception,wifi reception or bluetooth reception and sure enough it drops wifi connection. This is not the only problem with wifi on this phone step away equally with a new iPad in your hand and you will see that this HTC One XL can not make it half the distance of the iPad before dropping wifi connection. Wifi connection is only great if you are within 2-5 feet of the actual router but if you walk out of the room then forget about your wifi connection. Hold it the wrong way and you can also kiss goodbye your wifi connection.

I have a Htc one X the handset is really good the only thing that annoys me about it is the random switching off of this handset all in all very good handset

This is not good as an announcement, it had no info for current customers. I'm the one who is going to buy one because SIII MHL issue and ugly design but HTC now is below par on QC and customers report. I have to change my mind again!

One X design are nice but quality like cottage device ,my one X have front camera issue then send back to them and wait one week they return me the new device ( service are good),but the new device I have receive have screen yellow tint issue .woo ! What is the percentage to get two DEFECT device ?! Good news is I can wait ONE week to change the device ....MUST think twice when you are interest to get it ....good luck to all .I have think to change this to other quad core device S will be better?

And Samsung scraps a whole shipment and delays a major product launch just because the paint is slightly wrong...

I'm not a fan but love anything htc...it scares me hearing factory fault here and there, i beginning reasoning with samsung....hta pleaseeeee do something its getting too much

The display of HTC one x are developing light yellow tint, mine got one, local service centre acknowledged it is a problem in some handsets and giving me DOA letter.
I am planning to buy other model because even I am not satisfied with it's camera, which is elevated and developed scratches in just one week, its a design issue and nothing can be done. Reply from HTC - buy a cover for camera?!?

The same problem as with Transformer Prime TF201. The antenna is fixed with some screws not soldered. You need to squeeze the tablet/phone where the screws are. Not nice. You might not notice the problem in areas with strong wifi signal, but in areas with weak wifi signal, or wifi congestion(multiple networks sharing the same bandwidth) it does not work. I have to say that the iPads I have(I have one TF201 and 2 iPads 2) have very good wifi connection. The TF has another problem. Sometimes, it takes very long time to load a webpage. It freezes at the beginning, and after 30 seconds or so, it continues to load the page. But many times it just gets stuck on loading the page and you need to refresh the page.

The battery issue is still not fixed properly. It still drains battery fast after one full-length movie (~1.5hours).
