Okay, admitting a problem is a good sign.

Though, it's crystal clear now that the build quality of HTC is very questionable.

This is a better reaction then the reaction from apple, when the Iphone4 came out (not to trash iphones!) and it had problems with the antenna. *it's the connection, not the antenna!* still saving money to buy the HTC One X, though :)

Internation One x here. No problems at all. Bought it in official HTC store just after they start to sell it in my country.

Just to highlight the fact. All manufacturers hit problems at some stage. I loved my N95 upgraded to the N96, squeezed the corners of the phone slightly and it wiped my phone and stuck in a continuous reboot. That phone was in repair for 4 months out of 24. Having lost all of my contacts, photos, messages etc.

Sony get stung on a regular basis and I'm not even going there on the iShhhhhite products.

Yes they need to fix it, and I'm sure if you send it for repair they will come up with something to resolve the issue. It probably won't be a full replacement of the phone but it should be a fix for the limited few that are having issues.

Just to note as well, my N96 came back more damaged than it went in to Nokia's repair centre on several occassions. Once even coming back with a shattered screen.

Hopefully HTC's repair centre is better than that,

Lets see how HTC's after sales service solves this issue for existing customers.

my HTC One X is stupid, the Wifi drops if I hold it from the upper side, plus the signal goes away while switching between 2G and 3G, also the signal vanishes if I put it in my pocket while its in 2G mode,,,
I dream of an HTC without these problems

AT LAST,I thought it was my wifi connection that was the problem, this confirms it is my HOX.

I've lost all confidence in my phone now and am going to demand a refund and by a GALAXY S lll , at least then I will be buying a quality product.

HTC is really f&€ked up nowadays. First, the chipping issue on the One S and now this? No wonder they're going down.

when are they going to admit the issues with the camera as revealed by the gsmarena blind test. notice that the one x is the photo marked c. that too is a hardware issue as xperia takes much better pics with the same Android version. and samdung fans need not rejoice as their galaxy $3 is not much better.

At least HTC's admitting it's own problems, accepts it, and being open-minded. That's how a company should be. +1 using a One X!
