I admire HTC for putting there hands up and admitting its there problem which is a good thing.

HTC really need to start bucking there ideas up in the smartphone market they are slowly losing custom through poor build and other issues.

Lets face it though if Apple had this issue they would say you were holding it wrong and its all your fault.

Had my One X since launch day, not one issues what so ever, IMHO this is the best phone out there!
Had iPhone's...boring...had S2 last year...nice phone, just cheaply made! S3...same again!

    HTC One X FTW!!!

Just admint mistake without offering any fix.. i bet their planning to ask x user to throw away their x and purchase new htc smartphone with no fatal. ;-)

Even sony admint their mistake and offer a fix regarding yellow tint issue. And also nokia offer a rebate for their lumia connectivity issue. Come on htc.. you need to keep it up ur after sale service.

I do not dare buying any more phones from HTC because my Desire and Desire Z both had the worst build quality ever and both had problems keeping a stable 3g-connection and both screens died after only a few months use! HTC do not deserve their reputation for good build quality because using metal is not the same thing as good build quality even though many reviewers are fooled into believe so!

Where is the "premium" phone maker now... who doesn't want to manufacture "level entry" phones for emerging markets?

What a joke, I don't see the "premium" phone maker HTC wants to be

HTC needs to replace their faulty handsets like sony did with their xperia S yellow tint issue.

love HTC devices, but they are faulty. Had 2 Nexus One phones, one had a 3G problem, the other reboots when CPU gets hot. After reading this, I will not buy the One S that I was thinking about
