      Google needs to fire their pixel design en engineering teams and just keep the software team and hire an external design and engineering teams because this is really something to cry about. If this was the 4a I would understand it but a flagship phone in 2020 with a fingerprint reader on the back can't be excused it's shameful to even announce this phone as a flag ship when some budget and many midrange phones have in screen fingerprint readers

        For the love of God make it just a smidge thicker. The protruding camera unit trend needs to die. There are better ways to protect the outer lens element and this is least practical one.

            If only the price is right, then it'll be a good phone with 4 years of major updates.

              Ok, so, except cursed edgy display, this phone tick all the "Dafuq" parts :

              *A stupid punch hole, right in the notification area.
              *No more 3D (secure) facial recognition because of the stupid idea that one biometric should replace another one...
              *Back placed fingerprint reader rather than indisplay.
              *Capacitive rather than the new superior ultrasonic, so, outdated...
              *Camera hump.
              *No Telephoto.
              *Too thin (8mm) while Google is known to put ridiculously small batteries.
              *No jack port.
              *Flagship level ditched for a midrange chip (and probably priced as a flagship still).

              Why is the smartphone industry so stupid since few years ?
