Can't stand people that say xperia phones are expensive,but can't see the iphone that is almost double in price,samsung that is more expensive,and even chineese phones are at least 100 usd over xperia 1II....talking of the top of the line!
Always complains about what xperia is offering,but it'a better when you offer nothing,like other brands,or wait, new emoji is coming to iphone..yeeeeey! Take them in comparison,display,camera,battery,audio,design,experience that you habe with the product....xperia will always be on top!

Ah, typical Sony useless software and hardware, so you have to attach ND filters with clips yourself lol. Pathetic phone from pathetic division, which calls themselfs as camera phone yet offers measely 12MP to it :D and charges 1000 dollars, very impressive

... moreYou need to understand the difference between autofocus and focus peaking. That video from the link is clearly autofocus, no question about that. Focus peaking, on the other hand, is where you have an area highlighted in colour*. They might sound like the same, but they are entirely different.

Xperia 1ii has Eye autofocus, it help capture actions people and pet in focus at real-time, but LG V60 don't come with any similar feature.

The Sony started frying after 6 months with battery degradation down to 65%.
While Huawei still only managed to get 87% battery degradation after 2.5 years.
Another Sony phone literally was set on fire during charging via 10W charger.
Huawei stayed cool and never built up much heat despite the fast charging while Sony was getting so hot, I could cook my meals on it.
It's clear why Sony have been kicked out of several countries for producing cheap phones while charging a premium for the same.

VOOC is super advanced and much superior where Temps increase by not more than 3 deg C during charging and using the phone.

That focus lock feature is just amazing! I definitely love how you can defocus and focus on something else and it will do the focusing transition super smoothly. Definitely a world's first.
If Sony can consider putting focus peaking like LG always did with their V-series smartphones, I can consider on giving the V60 ThinQ 5G a serious competition.

I have one Sony phone for 3 years and battery is better than one on Huawei P30 Pro after 1.5 year. H.S. is better than fast charging. No extreme heat when you charge phone and play games. Extreme heat destroys battery. I will always give fast charging for less heating.

[deleted post]Did you use Sony XPERIA 1 II? You are writing this like chinese brands are the best in the world and others are garbage. I used Sony, chinese brands, Samsung, LG and now Sony again. Chinese brands are cheap, but not good as Samsung and Sony. You can say what ever you want, but quality is not part of chinese brands. For example Huawei. On Huawei top models only photo and zoom on camera is exellent. Everything else is good or bad. Sound and speaker are so bad. Midrange is the best on Samsung...
XPERIA 1 II is very good phone. Exellent screen, the best speakers I heard, exellent camera, better in manual mode...

They are not developing nor manufacturing batteries. There are battery controllers that could be made in-house but controllers only talk to battery. Overall what Chinese competition is doing is typical race to the bottom and there is no super science in their supercharging.

Oh come on! How many wattages do you want from them? 1200W like most Microwaves? Or like average Hairdryers with 1500W? 🙃🥴🙄.
You know that well Sony already stated that their smartphones target market is for a very segmented and niche markets since last year, and you're acting you want them to please you like you desire again and generalize one taste for all smartphone company, when even some other reviewers starting to realize what Sony are heading up for this time 😒...
