Android 4.0 is Ice Cream Sandwich.
Now Android 4.1 is Jelly Bean. Why these idiots had to change the name? To fake customers that he/she using JB but ICS, which is more superior.

Or have they indirectly accepted that ICS was a F A I L and they released it without finishing it. Huh??? Now they will T R Y to finish ICS with a new weighty name. Uff!

Le... moreIs a phone obsolete just because you don't have the latest release? I just upgraded my phone from GB to ICS: it's better, but not a great difference... my phone was not obsolete with GB and will not be obsolete when Jelly Bean comes out, even if I won't be able to upgrade.
That said, Android is the only OS where, if it is technically possible, someone will make a ROM with the latest release even if your phone brand does not update your firmware, so it's definitely better than WP and iOS from this point of view.

Yuk yuk yuk...! what is there in Play store ? seriously ? call crappy apps...! i shifted from Iphone to Galaxy note and now im getting bored with it. Wen i use to have iphone, use to get loads of apps and games, i mean quality games ... Frankly nothing in Android market.. and the games i had also always shows error "Force Close". tooo cheap and crappy. Oh im missing iphone.. I did ICS official update for my Note and after that it got even worse. Im tired of it.. It is not my kind of mobile. Im waiting for Iphone 5, I badly badly misssing App Store, Android market has nothing, all cheep crappy apps.. you never get bored with your fone as along as it keeps updated with new apps and games. i hardly found a nice apps in Android market and the have also are useles ones. Where as wen i had my iphone, i had my fone full of apps and games and which is so useful for me on my daily life. I don care what ppls say abt apple. It is the best. atleast it has some quality ..

android should optimize their source code in this update.android can be more butter smooth than wp if they optimize their source code.linaro android has proved by accelerating android to 100%.i like android because it is best for support as compare to wp.

bummy, 22 Jun 2012here's hoping Jelly Bean will focus on the fragmentation...The fragmentation will somewhat remain as the devices on gb that can't be upgraded to ICS will also not get jelly bean but lets hope that 4.1 aka JB doesn't increase it.that is all ICS onboard running devices should get jb update including budget ones like tipo n desire c.that would be a big achievement for android.

Jelly bean is a minor update it seems.
Therefore I hope that updating from ICS to JB isn't as difficult as from GB to ICS was for non nexus devices.
major changes have been pulled back for key lime pie possibly android 5.0.
