samsung had always based their sales on shipment. and the last time they counted all variants of galaxy s2. they name different hardwares similarly to achieve the numbers. and i thought 9 million order before launch? but still hasnt reached 10 million till now? samsung doesnt need to make things up. their products are already brilliant. im a galaxy note owner and i love my phone.

Got to say, im HTC all the way, but working for a big brand, we have sold these by the bucket load. Great phone. Too early to tell reliability but great spec, benchmarks better than anything, (beating one x on I/0 and renders web pages a bit faster) but not by much. Only thing is, hyper glaze quality is poor, noticed on mosts handsets malformed bubbles in the glaze, and some the back cover doesnt fit well. Poor build, but other than that, great handset. Has to be said.

Got the phone on launch date. My 1st Samsung, nothing matches it, my eyeFone friends don't "show off" their cutting edge ( for 2010 ) 4s models anymore as they don't have anything to boast about. This phone is expensive but still cheaper than 4s in SA, and you get what you pay for. Design is ok, but hardware and software on this phone is brilliant.

Check out the Optimus 4X HD, it has a quad core, HD screen, micro SD, large battery, NFC and more, its spec sheet looks very much like the Galaxy S3's one but with a lower price and doesn't look like a frikin soap.
