    It will take them 10 more years.

    Current implementation itself lets you know that it is a feather weight OS which can easily be burdened by the complexity and advanced level of optimization required for super smooth widget experience.
    The closed source nature robs the OS from implementation of next level widgets and customization.

    Widgets on iOS still have to match upto the widget experience on Android a decade back.
    My suggestion, you wait another 10 years given the company track record of catching up.

      I can't decide which company insults their loyal customers more - Samsung with the Exynos, or Apple with their strategic delayed feature release.

            my p40 pro can see better details than my own eyes when zooming 10x. i'll take that over apple garbage 10x anytime.
            you dont see how pathetic you are? yes the quality of zoom in a phone wont look like one from a dslr but fact it look muuuuch better than your rubbish apple and in 2 years from now will surely be improved and innovating while apple will find behind.

                Quality comes after invention.. yes quality is secondary the technology must exist first so we have data on what is wrong and then make corrections

I also think Apple does too, that’s why they don’t try to reach to stars to just sell a numbers like competition do, they do small steps to maintain the great quality and as tech gets better they go higher.

                      I mean look that s20 ultra space zoom, it was most ridiculous thing seen in a long time, and let’s not even talk about the fact that they actually wrote that thing behind their phone.. seriosly..

                      According to news Note 20 ultra will have ”only” 50x zoom. So even Samsung just admit that it was useless gimmick. Just like that 50x will be too, but hey need to sell those numbers.

                          Yes i have, conclusion, both are useless for real use. Yes Huawei looks lot better, but so what if there’s no real use for it? I want zoom which look about same than 1x. I think that is exactly what’s coming with iPhone 12 with 3x zoom. Apple doesn’t do ridiculous things like 100x zoom which has no real use.

                          Do you remember when Apple was late with 120hz slow motion? It looked bad, choppy and fake with all the devices in the market, then came Apple and it looked very smooth and natural with first try and people absolutely loved that feature and it was instant hit. That’s Apple and how they do things, they wait until tech is matured enough to be great feature and then they implement it. If Apple wouldn’t do it next year it’s clear sign that the level of that feature just isn’t where Apple wants it to be.

                              Its that hard to understand that apple pushes new software and hardware features only when the market share start to drop.
                              Of course they gonna wait implementing a periscope camera as long as they can. Give less, get as much as possible.
                              The hardware is there and the software also, the only issue us that apple is acting like they are a low budget company not capable of pushing the technology forward.
                              Its not that they cant manufacture a periscope camera for the new gen iphones, but they dont want to.

We don’t have any 3rd widgets available. Also what you say is just matter of taste and your opinion. Adding more customization doesn’t make something automaticly better and better made.

                                Market will show how they will work, what is certain, it will be lot more popular feature among iOS users than among Android users and 3rd developers will make it even better. And Android users again thinking what happened, we had this feature all these years ;)

                                    You want the periscope camera to have same quality as the main one, not going to happen but p40 pro is clearly the phone where all cameras are almost as good as the main one. Just compare ultra wide quality of huawei with samsung and iphone, is much sharper and destroys them even in low light. Your iphone secondary cameras are useless in low light.

                                        But well i just check the same photos with my 75” TV and now it looks really horrible, just like expected.
