realme x2 pro, a phone from about 8 months ago beats the nord in all aspects, including price and excluding UI and 5G.

I definitely think this phone is over-hyped, but the positives come down to 3 mostly ignored things in the smartphone busines. Software, size and price. Only Google, Nokia, Motorola and OnePlus are doing software well for Android. This phone has that at the right size for the right price. It's a no brainer. There may be other phones with better specs for a better price, but they will probably have bad software or be too big or both.

7t is available in my country for the same price as Nord, €400.
Not worth the price. Not worth the hype. 7t is much better in the same price.

Looks like phone camera producers stuck with huge stock of macro/depth modules, so every new model push this crap.

overhyped..they priced close to oneplus 7t, 8 both of these phones very superior compared to Nord..I also hate how they presented front camera..

This is not so cheap phone with midrange specifications. This time they had managed to pull hood marketing stunts and that is it.

I'm not hyped with this OP Nord. For people that considers buying this, kindly reconsider old flagships or midrangers from other brands.

i was hoping for atleast HDR display support ans instead of putting two camaras in front they must had to use that camara on rear

Who else likes the old poll set up better. Half the time it says captcha failed or whatever. And the results are some times cut off. Just a thought

Often there are options missing in these gsmarena polls.
The phone seems like good value for money IF the camera is good enough. I have a Pixel 3a now, so if it can match that camera quality I would consider it as my next phone. So I'll wait for the review before making my final judgment :)

For the price at least it had to be premium materials so that it doesn’t look cheap. People won’t mind compromises in terms of not having flagship features but that would kill their own top margin mobiles. It is like Apple which wants you to buy its high margin top end mobiles by trapping you with tiny memory as its starting line up those days, even now with their entry line up forcing you to consider higher versions one after the other. iPhone 11 128 or 256 is closer to iPhone 11 Pro (but slightly lesser) when you go after 11 Pro it’s 64 GB becomes useless and when you look for 256 GB, immediately 11 Pro Max price becomes attractive and so on....
They play with your mind in the name of selecting cheaper one with unusable storage but eventually make you to shell out more

Just because it doesn't have the best specs doesn't mean that it's overhyped...
