So frustrated.. have had my charge 3 for 18 months.. because of the upgrade on 8/20 it quit keeping time accurately and then finally went blank. Have contact customer service.. since it’s out of warranty they only offered me 35% of new product. You would think since it was their fault for the Fitbit mess they would offer a free replacement. I have had fitbits since 2014. My feelings, if they don’t care about customers, I will change to an Apple Watch.. Fitbit doesn’t deserve my business... very sad .

Fitbit update - has ruined what was a good fitbit. Wrist movement no longer works.
Screen dim. etc. Fitbit needs to make sure their update is an improvement not a
disimprovement before releasing it.

I updated my charge 3 and now the time is way off and it wont synch - I am sooo pissed - what a waste and I have been a fitbit user since the beginning. The response from tech support is laughable.

i found with the new update I could not read my screen at all and it rendered it useless
as far as I was concerned. I have a replacement and will not be updating it.

I agree... I miss setting silent alarm from my cell phone. I can’t see the screen well enough to set it. It was much easier before the update.?

Sadly this update has left a lot of users with watches that can’t be used/unfit for purpose and we are being offered discounts to purchase new watches after Fitbit have destroyed the watches (it’s still a lot of money). It’s not acceptable - we are just being brushed off.

Not having the option of setting the alarm on the app is very disappointing.

I updated my fitbit charge 3 and it went dark. I figured out it went to brightness-dim. Seems a stupid change in the update.

After updating, my Fitbit 3 does not lit up. Battery indication is all messed up. When plugged in, the Fitbit is showing showing 1%, the next moment showing 55%, next moment showing 100%, but when unplugged, the Fitbit becomes unresponsive!

Martin , 19 Aug 2020I had the update last week. No more light no nothing on my ... moreI had the same problem soon after I updated the firmware - my watch-face went very dim. I was able to correct this by swiping left on the watch till I got to 'settings' and then clicking on brightness and then when I selected the normal mode the brightness was back to normal again.
One thing, it is kind of difficult to see'settings' when the watch-face is very dim so if it is any help it is on the 4th swipe across and then it is the top option in case you are you are not able to read it ... hope this helps!

Since the upgrade, I can only create one silent alarm at a time that either works for every day, or you need to turn it off manually. Multiple alarms can be set, but for every day. I miss the option to be able to set multiple alarms for specific days thru the app. 😢. Please provide this capability again. All alarms are now set n the device.

I have a 2 yer old Charge 3 and a few days ago I updated the firmware to 1.88.11. Since then it started to flash and scroll through the screens. I got help from Fitbit and was told that the new firmware is no longer compatible with my g7 Power phone. So, I went back to my ipad which I had previously used, and reloaded the fitbit app, same problem. Just that now I cannot connect as a dew device - connecting via Bluetooth does not work. Fitbit Help offered me a discount on a new Charge 3 or 4. I am obviously not the only one having this problem, and I do not think that Fitbit should be allowed to "obsolete" the Charge 3 by pushing through and update to the firmware. Any suggestions?

If I had known in advance what the update was, I wouldn’t have updated my charge 3. I liked the option of setting the alarm by way of my iPhone. The new option doesn’t work very well. I set an alarm that I wanted to use, but it goes off an hour sooner and won’t go off at the time set. Not what I want as an alarm. Would rather have it on my iPhone. I can see it a little better than the tiny charge 3 screen. Put it back or at least let us have the option of using our phone to set alarms.

I can't seem to see my sleep data or sleep score on the Today screen. Does anyone else have the same issue?
Thanks
