Now they have to stop slowing down phones and acknowledge faulty hardware / software. I'm still "enjoying" the green tint on my S10 Lite. Absolute garbage of a company...

Even better, Samsung has no factories in China.

"In addition, Samsung will also stop supporting its Galaxy Apps Store."
How could they be so naive? What happened to ZTE & Huawei could happen to Samsung next. What a short-sighted decision.

I don't hate Bixby, it's just that it is still in it's early stage
And now I hate how one got a monopoly on this smartphone field
Look at qualcomm and it's insane snapdragon pricing+modem

[deleted post]as craaazzzy as it seeeeeems ... human helplessly going into one world government ... they will add our biological and technological distinctiveness to their own, our culture will adapt to service them ...
its more likely executive order than negotiation
the advertising ... holds the truth even extremely painful ... if human will not stand united as one, nothing will defend humanity ... they trying so hard to unify every single thing through standardization bodies, from solely engineering point of view, its the human diversification that hindrance the swift moves of operations and problem solving
OS unified by x/open
interfaces at physical all the way through interface layer unified by various international standardization bodies ISO, IEEE, ITU, FCC, CCITT
software levels unified by assembler at hardware level all the way to user programming level by C/C++ and visualize to Java based
cyberspace unified by IETF through RFC standards
it must come to single language of 0 and 1, even in that extremely simple form still giving extremely serious pain because of diversification, therefore, untold-ly, they unify every single thing and try to advertise as humanly as possible by covering the real intent og GID knows what ???
so ... painful ... but the truth will set us free ... NOT to make us feel better

Don't do it Samsung. Galaxy store may be dropped, coz apps can exist on Play store. But Bixby is very good for Samsung devices which has kernel level integration.

[deleted post]I think you're on to something here. The problem is the majority of these other ecosystems exist in parallel with GMS, are bad and don't actually add any value to the consumer. So the consumers usually wind up seeing them as a nuisance. I really wish manufacturers would focus on making something good rather than just having competing services. I think Huawei will eventually have good services out of necessity, but Samsung has been doing this for years and it's still not compelling because they don't actually focus on making it good.

Finally! Get rid of that Samsung crap! I disabled everything I could from Samsung on my phone. They do nice hardware, but the software is really annoying.

ponk87, 29 Jul 2020I can't believe how many people are happy monopolies a... moreIt's for familiarity sake. I don't wanna get out of the comfort zone just to support a minor competitor. I've gotten used to and studied GMS for years and I don't wanna throw it all away for a rival. I don't wanna go through Bixby where I have mastered Google Assistant for example.
