I haven't seen too many Redmi phones. People prefer Huawei, Apple, or even the Xiaomi. At the lower end, the K30 pro can't attract people because it costs TOO MUCH. At 2600 RMB, it isn't a budget phone. Therefore, it needs to compete with phones that are 3-4k in price. In most cases it can't compete.

    In 2020, the 60 Hrz display setting needs to be consigned to battery saving mode exclusively.

    No self respecting phone uses such a low refresh rate anymore. Even in the budget sector it's starting to get rare and this is not a budget phone.

Most buyers are not interested that extra ounce of additional performance offered by SD865+. According to a smartphone supply-chain report, the buyers of 2020 want the following (in the order of decreasing importance):
        1) 5G;
        2) Design: curved front, thin, light weight, and premium material finish;
        3) Camera: for both photography and video.

        There is a very sharp drop of interests in budget flagships (flagship killers). People are willing to pay more for a mid-ranger (with a strong enough SoC, such as D1000+, or even a Kirin820) that comes with a better design (aesthetic appeal, premium material finish) and a better camera setup. By using D1000+ instead of a SD865+, Xiaomi has more room to maneuver, price-wise.

By clocking up SD865, Xiaomi can deliver more performance than SD865+. There is a possibility that Xiaomi will not use SD865+ for its new phones.

I thought the ultra is supposed to be better than the pro(like an 865+)? We can all agree that the mediatek dimensity 1000 is slower than the 865+, cause it's basically a dimensity 1000 with 144hz support.

                    Redmi K30 Ultra will be introduced as a new member of Redmi K30 series, not as an update of K30Pro. Not sure whether Redmi K30 Pro will stay, seeing how hard Xiaomi was pushing the sale of K30Pro in June.

                    If Redmi K30 Pro stays, the full lineup of K30 series will be:
                    K30i(SD765G), K30(SD765G), K30Racing(SD768G), K30Ultra(D1000+), K30Pro(SD865), K30ProZoom(SD865).

                    (K30(SD730G, 4G) is already out of Xiaomi's inventory, but still available from retailers. )

                            Xiaomi must stop this. Countless phone clones. Meh. Buggy MIUI, fake update promises, cheap materials, yellowish IPS screens, still on 60Hz.

                                the K30 pro is already on sale on mi.com china, starting at 2500RMB. how low can the K30 ultra get? no way it will be 1999RMB.
