Sony Xperia 5 II is not a compact phone. I had X Compact as my first smart phone after Nokia X3 (do you remember it: touch and 72g?), than I moved to XZ1 Compact, I skip over next XZ compacts (fingerprint sensor back mounted) and now I'm trying a Samsung Note 10 (it is huge for me). So, same sized phone as XZ Compact with full screen and a jack, when will we have, Sony?

In order to have a perfect compact phone from Sony; Sony should have the following improvements from XZ2 compact. The next compact phone would have a 5.0-inch with FHD+ OLED display at 1080p, without a notch on the screen, & a 90hz refresh rate. The phone should have improved speakers, big battery life, a new chipset performance, improved camera performance, 3.5 mm jack, FM radio, water-resistant, dust resistant, easy to hold & a new sleek design with high-quality materials. I really hope that Sony would improve these categories in the next 2021 compact smartphone.

4” is compact!!!

Give me a powerful 5" bezel less phone and i'm yours. Make sure it has a 3.5mm jack and great battery life. Keep screen res at 1080p to save on battery life.

I really wish that Sony would make the next compact smartphone the most powerful smartphone in 2021. I really predict that the next compact smartphone from Sony would be a 5 inch with a QHD display and a 90 hz refresh rate with a best quality camera, performance, special features, and etc. I can't wait to see the successor of the xperia XZ2 compact.

Compact phone.... Below 5.125" is compact enough for me to perform single hand operation. I still love my Z5, powerful CPU, good camera, good screen contrast, good speakers and loudness, and good price.
Sony....please please please make powerful compact phones

I wish they would bring back the 16:9 format
I use the phone for communication not for video or games and as far as I am concerned the XZ Premium is still the best phone they produced. I did not take to the XZ2 Premium to think and heavy so I would still like to see a updated version of the original XZ Premium

Sony literally only needs to keep the same features of now, add back the stacked sensor for those incredible slo-mos, and use good pricing.
400-500 for their compact model
700-800 for normal.
900-1100 for the premium model.

Think the xz1c was the last one I liked and considered a compact.
and that seems to be Sonys issue, they produce a bad design like the xz2c and dont sell many then put that down to there being no market rather than their shoddy design

Still have me XZ1c and happy with it, just so worried if something goes wrong with it i'm stuffed with the choices out there.
Case looking very shabby...
FYI compact is this or less, 130 x 65 x 10mm
