I don't get why more companies do not participate in Android One. Less work for Xiaomi on the software part. What is the problem with that?!

Why doesn't Xiaomi confirm the Mi A4 is a no-go? I'm using Mi A1 needing to change,but wait for A4 or move on? Real frustrating.I read somewhere a Mix CC was gonna be rebranded as an A4!

I m big fan of Mi series.Why cannt launching Mi A4 i m still wait for this mobile from lost of months.its very nice combination of Xiomi & android 1. I m using Mi all series. Still wait Mi A4

I only bought Xiaomi because of Android One. I got a M1 for myself and liked it so much that got my brother another one. I was so happy with them that I got my mom an A2 lite and upgraded my A1 for an A2. The A3 was disappointing so I was waiting for the A4. That being said, if there is no more Android One from Xiaomi I will look elsewhere.

I'm the owner of a Xiaomi Mi A1 and I have been waiting for the Xiaomi Mi A4 to replace it for quite a while. Anyway, I consider Android One as the key element of the smartphone and as more important than the vendor itself. So if it is not by Xiamoi, it will be another smartphone, but it's going to be Android One.

Mi is doing very wrong with its a series phones.
Stock android is much better and miles ahead of MIUI.
Stock android is one of the reasons why Mi is so popilar worldwide.
Now there is a fear for those who have mi a3 because if Mi is going away from stock android, then there is a probability that in upcoming time mi a3 reveives a big software update for MIUI

Man I so so loved Mi A1, Specially due to Android 1. I've been postponing buying any new phone in wait of Mi A4. It's a bummer that it will be no more. All others OEM's make expensive Android One phones which I can't afford. It's so disappointing of Xiaomi.

Xiaomi didn't gather popularity in the West because of stock Android. Quite the contrary. It's because of stock Android that the mi-A failed. Consumers don't like stock Android. That's a fantasy only some tech geeks live with.
