What i am observing about apple's development is how to block other competitors, not on R&D on new devices. If they continue on this banning policy and show ppl same devices year after year the dominance will soon fall....

Seriously, I am not sure Apple should have been given the 'Slide To Unlock' patent...It is stupid...
And Google Voice has existed long before Siri, and how come Apple is patent-trolling Google for a search patent?
Also, touch-to-replace is just a modified version of right-click-for-spelling-suggestions we use every other day in Microsoft Office and other editors...
Tech giants will be better off if they spend time and money on innovation rather than during the crap out of each other at every turn, IMHO.
Besides, it is not like Apple has not ccopied anything from Android... take a look at the Notification Center, the threaded view, Direct-to-camera-from-lockscreen, Google Wallet, Maps etc.,
Moreover,the first few versions of iOS were actually revolutionary, other than that, Apple's software is one stagnant set of UI and core features... there has been no true innovation on Apple's part in several generations.
Not saying Apple is completely wrong, but to sue companies on such minor details is a waste of resources, which, they might have more than they want.
Apple, just spend your valuable 'resources' with something more productive...

The big winners are the lawyers as always and since this is USA concern why should rest of world bother..Well we have to bother becsuse apple is holding up progress purley because it is so behind the competition and finds relief by suing.
Also outside the geek world no person on the street knows that this lawsuit is going on..If the normal person on the street was educated as to whats happening apple cool would shrink like hell.

That is Google's flagship phone... Google is either going to strike back, or loose reputation... I would love to see someone that will stop apple to do that...

just appreciate what other have made, xperia s screen is stunning because its high ppi desity,but there is other phone who has more ppi desity, there always be . . and BRAVIA,havent you read XDA? even i can port BRAVIA on my galaxy s2. dont be that brand-centered people who hate other product just because it didt comes from your desired brand ,dont be that applefands type.

LED displays are only used in over sized panels used in large public places where the screens have to be tens or more of metres across and at close range have a VERY low resolution and have never been used in high resolution hand held devices.
As a photographer I choose super AMOLED because to my eyes it gives the most accurate colour reproduction,and because I will replace my phone when my two year contract is finished it doesn't bother me that it has a shorter lifespan than LCDs do.

Pardon my french but Apple just plain sucks. If any representative of Apple is reading this; make better products and stop suing everyone. You really really suck big time. if a consumer wants to buy a proper phone, aka a Nexus, rather than your boring IPhone, let them do it. Focus on better features and a better product to increase sales, rather than trying to decrease other company's sales. what a bunch of Tw*ts.

These manufacturers can get away from infringing softwares patents from Apple if they went with Windows Phone 8 in the future. Apple and Microsoft don't sue each other.
