The Huawei Mate 40 will get Kirin chipset, but may be the last Kirin-powered flagship

The company is facing supply issues as the US will block TSMC from producing more chips for Huawei starting in mid-September.

      well, use some Dragons or Mediatechs
      but never ever use "exynos"

          Huawei will simply buy MediaTek, if it hasn't already happened.
          Huawei are just saying this will be the last Kirin chip flagship.
          I don't really think they're going to be buying Exynos chips.

                    We won't see kirin in next year flagships like p50 , they will use third party chips maybe mediatek until smic starts to use 5nm so sad to hear this but i hope they won't give on kirin

                      I hope that this is not the end of huawei, otherwise that's gonna be very bad for us, and no competition to samsung
                      Wich will sell overpriced garbage piece of heat (exynos)

                        I don't think anyone believes that huawei will be at a significant loss , because of western technology interferences.

                          Just wished it had access to Google service it would have being the best

                            This will only help China to be stronger... And make there own SoC plants... China needs to do this really. Then they will be in a very strong position.
