Bastos, 13 Aug 2020So true. With leaked specs pixel 5 is 400$ phone. Up to 400 i would like to say only big difference will make constant updates from google.

Pixel and then Pixel 2 XL owner here. Skipped the 3 due to the notch (plus the 2XL was still an amazing phone), and I pre-ordered the 4XL, but when it got to my door I sent it back. I had read and seen too many negative reviews, and also realize that the 4XL wasn't much of an upgrade from the one I was using. Especially the camera which is one of the things I use the most. I still take brilliant 4K videos on this thing. I was excited for the original and truly loved the second generation, but it looks like my relationship with Google's phones will end there. Currently looking into either the Note 20 or S20 Ultra.

This is an absolute joke. You have the pixel 4a that's pretty much a mid tier perfectly priced phone that's crushing it. And then your going to release the 4a 5G which will be an even better mid tier upgrade from the 4a!!!!!!. What would posses google to make a pixel 5 with a 765g. so their making another mid tier phone. Like why. ! You need a premium. I honestly thought they'd use the 865+ chipset just under around 6in 4k oled display. At least 8g ram. And minimum 128 memory. Bigger battery and software of battery. And I'd like to see soli with more integration of it.

Google went from asking for premium prices for a high end phone to asking for high end prices for a mid range phone.
200$ cheaper than last year doesn't mean anything if the performance is that much worse.
As per usual Google doesn't fail to disappoint and rip their fan base off

700$ means 700€ in Europe. For that budget specs are pathetic. Soc 865 will be quite ourdated in October, it should be the minimum. At 700€ 10/256G, 4000mh battery, 90/120 display and at least 3 cams should be standard. When Google offer 128G storage for 1000€ phone everybody find it outstanding ... Ridiculous

I was really considering Pixel this year but because of this non-flagship chipset I have to forget about it. I also don't want to buy Samsung because where I live they only sell Exynos-based models. I predict record revenues for Apple this year ;).

Right time to get an iPhone. This year I will be switching the boats sick of this Android now. I will start using Samsung when they stop doing their horrible OneUI. I have been Pixel user since 1st one and used Oneplus in between but OnePlus camera and software optimisation are horrible

When some other brands sing SD865 plus for up to 500 or 600 and far more features and specs.

Everybody accepts google has bad build quality and qc so the least they could do is put a flagship chipset like the nexus of old. Creaky build and not the best quality everything but flagship chipset for cheap.

Because the fluidness with which your apps open and close and multitask is all ram. If I can put a cpu faster than the 865 by 86 million times will you benefit? Would you pay for that? I personally will take the slowest processor possible that doesn't compromise performance.
