Nokia phones are really trustful and they have long running even under HMD Global.
My Nokia 6 2017 still working fine and no issues and one my friend having Redmi Note 4 his phone is dead and best part is he was laughing at me due my older process SD430 but believe me my phone even works smooth on Android 9 which was started with Android 7.1
Even redmi note 4 didn't get the Android 9.
Every apps works on my phone and that is the reason their slogan its keep getting better thats the power of android updates we get latest android library to run latest apps or its features.
You people go only with specs but having latest library is better then their higher specs for showing number which hardly make any difference in real life performance

They need to add a couple of compact models to their lineup. Not everyone wants gigantic phones.

Will this finally able to remove that ugly teardrop notch on all these future Nokia phones? Punch hole or tiny bezel for camera is way better than that notch.
Can they able to unlock the bootloader of their 3 year old (first generation 2017) phones which are reaching end of life (software support) this year?

I think this is a good move for Nokia,I already loved their pure stock android so this might mean even more support from Google. Can't wait for the new phones.

Will the Nokia brand can reclaim its number 1 spot with this move? Hopefully.

Build phones with symmetrical designs, no notches or cutouts, bigger batteries....

Halfthekgb, 12 Aug 2020Good chance for them to make a comeback. They have to take it. Actually, is not that much of a money, but will see what comes out of this. At the end, Apple's a'' was saved twice from bankruptcy by Microsoft and look at them now, everybody has more respect for them then for their saviours. So yeah, hmd is not in those lines, but they clearly have to few money to invest, too small on the market to grow fast enough. But maybe with bigger investors, they can grow enough to start do some european innovation and wipe the floor with all copycats.

But first you need to understand what pureview is, and as it seems, you don't. Pureview is not all about the wow on the phone display, hurra. It is actually the wow of the how much a small phone can be tweeked, turned, and customized to make the most interesting pictures, henche a niche league and not for everybody. Clearly not for selfy ducks. Pureview since it's birth was not for everybody and i hope will remain the same. A totally other class of looking at smartphone photography, a class that does not blend in with the others, but stands out far away from them.
