There is saying every dog have its days.This may happened to nokia.one there was a time when they rule the market but time has change.we dont understand why they are holding back them self. why they are not updating its OS system,Meego man.its best one.and Symbian too which they had to done already.i dont thing and want to believe that they will join droid too.if that happend then they will loose their orignal ID being just nokia.

Looks like someone does have a brain at Nokia. Betting all the 'eggs' on Microsoft was a gross strategic mistake from Nokia. That's why they'll lose their edge against the likes of Samsung, HTC etc. They should never be confined to a platform nor to a business partner like Microsoft that have just 'killed' the Lumia range by announcing they can't be upgraded to WP8, wiping out a big chunk of Nokia's business. With partners like these who needs enemies?....

if i remember correctly WP was plan "B" to get out of "burning oil rig" several years ago. So that means Nokia has plan "C"...

no doubt that the samsung-android has become huge.....but remember.....everything has its downfall......
as of this year....samsung hasnt reallly differentiated their andro-products this year..there are better devices from other manufacturers now..the only reason samsung is still on top is its "unworthy" popularity from the "s" series

If at all lets say android is the backup plan for nokia, and if they want to test it, all they have to do is unlock the bootloaders of s60v5 devices and they can see the android magic unfold, hell i am ready to have even cupcake on my nokia 5233

Nokia should have putting android on their phones their plan A. Nokia make very good hardware it their OS that has become outdated. Nokia Build Quality and Android software flexibility is a winning combination, why they are waiting I don't know.

nokia should learn from samsung because samsung uses andriod and windows phones even its bada but gained in andriod because andriod is leading os so far.so nokia too has to use andriod and windows and if nokia wishs continue meego or symbian.As announced wp8 features may cross andriod and ios. First of all onething we should recognise if the os supports solid hardware configuration after by updates it can use full hardware but like symbian 256 ram 680 megaherz processor wat can symbian do? So andriod is the best os in the mobile os. So i suggest nokia should join andriod platform to replace its place in the mobile world i hope it wil do

I think you already know why and why Lumia devices wouldn't get the WP8 upgrade....if you are thinking dude. Yet inspite of this bad news, Nokia/MS give these Lumia the 7.8 upgrade to experience WP8. What did android gave to your gingerbread, froyo or eclair? Anything?

Well, if I want to get an Android phone, i will go for HTC or a Nexus... Its too late for nokia to go Android.
While Meego has the potential, and for me still the best OS, Elop has killed it and make sure it has no future.
Nokia only hope lies on WP8, I'm saying this even though I dislike Microsoft and WP.
