Better late than never. Nokia makes solid phones, Android makes solid gains, the combination should be considered seriously by Nokia.

Nokia still has symbian belle. it has finally almost caught up with android and ios in ui, and it has richer functionality than either one.

I bet Nokia will not join the royal rumble. See these trolls wanting the PV tech and other "nokia" thing on their android handsets. How funny it is. MS's WP8 will never let Nokia down.

But i dont think that windows phone 8 will fail...
Wp8 has more qualities/feature that can easily make Android/IOS substandard.

Microsoft is king of OS's & WP8 Architecture will make it king in mobile OS too

It should be meego-harmattan Nokia's back up plan. Wait for the pr 1.3 and look at how it improves even on an outdated hardware specs. Nokia should have a follow up on N9, double the processor, double the ram, 720x1280 screen res with a 4.1" diagonal measurement retain the body design and size of the original N9 or maybe thinner at 11mm. It is really simply amazing beautiful OS. An N9tothepowerof2, N9squared.

LOL Just some time ago Nokia said that other phone manufacturers using Android OS was like peeing in their pants to keep themselves warm and now it is their backup plan. This is why you should always mind your words. The once world's leading company is now eating its own words. A big hats-off to Google for Android.

Nokia won't join the Android wagon because they're afraid to rumble with Samsung. They know they can't stand toe to toe with the Korean behemoth.

Dear Nokia, please execute your backup plan now in order to avoid embarrassment later. Or if you still want to lose money and more market share then you are free to go with WM8 with great death.

Whatever backup plan is, as long as not Symbian (include belle or any future Symbian if any), the backup plan is a good plan.

The better shall be continue developed on MeeGo.
