My 6S, SE 2020, Iphone 8 and 11 all show the same quick decrease in battery capacity and stand-by. Even playing silly card games will drain it quickly. Non of my Android phones, even the cheep Redmi 7 looses battery that quickly. I'm sorry but the fabulous Iphone batteries are rubbish. I'm not speaking about the very efficient processors that beats any Android (and that is a fact). Pretty sure it is made to vanish quickly to get even more money out of your pockets for expensive battery swaps.

Highest degradation? Where's ... moreYeah, the highest degradation - it's simple physics - small cells = more degradation, more voltage fluctuation aka the battery gate point.
That is even the reason why iPhone shows 100-99% for the long time and then the drain accelerates to 0%.
I use both platforms, but you are correct, I do preffer Android a bit more.

Apple is one of the weakest companies when it comes to battery technology, save quick charging, wireless charging, not over charging etc.
Battery gate is real dude - iPhone 8 Plus after one year "85% battery health".

No hardware to make use of the software?
No OEMs can even come close to the integration Apple has accomplished with their iPhones and iPads.
Fandroids have been conditioned that more is better. The specs war has always been Androids game.
Higher battery capacity is better? NOPE longevity at the expense of LESS resources is true innovation. Apple remains supreme in battery optimisation. While Androids are constantly increasing capacity to compensate.
Apple is continuously optimising their SOC and software to accomplish more with less resources. Too much noise about the so called leaked smaller batteries of the iPhone 12, but if they can improve on iPhone 11 with less, that actually is TRUE INNOVATION.

And yes, I remember the days when Samsung software was awful, I've got the same experience with the s7 edge, since then I'm using Huawei devices only. Not a single software issue whatsoever.
Currently I'm using a p30 pro.
Of course Android and ios have their own strengths and weakness.
The problem is that there are to many empty headed fellas that glorify their favorite brand like it is a gift from God to the humanity.

That is the problem with all Android companies. Instead of concentrating their resources in making a great software and a good customer experience, they are just putting this nice features to attract clients.
Ok, so you got all this nice specs, in the end correlate that with a bad software experience, what you got? Nothing. That is exactly how I felt after just 6 months with my S9+, 1.5 years ago.

To solve green tint issues caused by thermal throttling, a simple fix is:
Install a heat sink or vapor chamber.
Not just a finger-sized graphene sheet.
Waiting for an actual solution for iPhone 12. Patent of liquid cooling aka vapor chamber was back in the iPhone 6 era, but was never implemented.

My old iPhone 7 Plus gets war... moreI mean your phone will be 4 years old in a month, It is normal for it to struggle and start throttling as its hardware is slowly getting incapable of running the latest version of all your apps and IOS 13.6.1 My soon to be 5 year old İPhone 6S throttles all the time but does it open and run all the apps I install in it smoothly and has the latest version of IOS? Yes, and thats all that matters. My friend has a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium which was released on the SAME month with a very similar retail price. His phone can’t run games such as Call of Duty or PUBG and it is really laggy when you go through the UI, also he is stuck with Android 8 whic was left back in 2017

If you want the best "spec-sheet", yeah probably Android is the best. But you need to change that "spec-sheet" every couple of months, maximum 1 year, to be ok.
I tried every approach there is with Android phones. Low-end, mid-range, flagship phones. I am not saying all were bad. Some of them were kinda ok. But not one of them was ok software wise. Doesn't matter if it was after 1 month (in some bad cases) or after 1 year, the implementation between software and hardware had to be bad at some point.
So, that is why I am using iphones now. IOS is not perfect by any means, and sometimes I miss the flexibility or customization of Android. But, when I remember all the problems I had with my Android phones, I realize that IOS is far better.

Apple is late... moreWhat good is best of the best display, camera or even chipset if you're then stuck on old version of software for no god damn reason other than vendor dishing out 150 phones every month and being entirely incapable of supporting all that junk. Since they also rely on selling crap en mass, they really have no interest in doing that and want you to buy a new device instead. Sure I wouldn't mind "better" or "best" everything, but I've realized with iPhones, it's not just raving about specs like everyone does about Androids. It's the whole experience and the whole experience is far better than any Android phone I've had. And I have iPhone XR which still has "720p" LCD display, only 3GB RAM, only single camera, only only only. With most phones I'd have to buy a new device to get proper night camera. On iPhone I got it via app called NeuralCam. And it makes amazing photos in near pitch black darkness, thanks to "Ai" (god I hate calling it this way) processing on A12 chipset. Bottom line is, the experience as whole is just so smooth and nice I'll have really hard time going back to Android even if they sort out stupid updating nonsense.
