A) If we disagree on the matter then you can sue me but that's usually the long and expensive way to go.
B) You ask me to license your patent for a certain amount of fee.
C) We can sit down and cross-license each others patents and no money is exchanged.
Nokia is in a situation where it's cash assets are dwindling fast, so option B seems to suit them from what we know. Ofc there might be other reasons as well for Nokia opting plan B.

Two or 3 days earlier android users were saying that nokia had copied a patent of anderoid but now when it is clear that android phones are copying nokia's patent then android phone users are crying and saying that nokia does not have enough money to file a case. But its the nokia only that is not filing the case so anderoid users should be thankful to nokia.

Many people are saying that nokia has not filed case due to money. But you should know that making a company is not a small thing and it cant be made with 1000 or 2000 dollars. So you should know that nokia is not doing thos for money, even if nokia is doing this for money than whats your problem. You are also doing many things for money if nokia did it so then whats the big deal and whats your problem in that.

Nick, 04 Jul 2012check your facts mate,, nokia had a tablet like 7 years ago,,dude I really respect Nokia for what hey did. However, nokia had never had a tabled (N810) was called a tbalet at that time but it was just 4.13'' big

Fallback to Android is Nokia's plan B in case Windows Phone 8 fails to make any impact. Hence they dont want to file a case against Google and have a sour relationship.
