Anonymous, 18 Aug 2020Or to reduce die size and cost...More likely to free die space for the 2nd 5G radio, higher spec storage, AND to compensate for the hotter higher-clocked performance cores.

5G both NSA and SA .
    But no WiFi 6 .
Wifi 6 is very useful so I will never buy any phone without WiFi 6 or AX wifi .

Should have remained at MC4 or increase to MC5

Mediatek literally destroying the Snapdragon chips in low end and mid range segment with Dimensity series. Qualcomm was becoming like Intel increasing prices for hardly any performance gains.
It's only a matter of time we see more companies using Dimensity in their phones.

AirY, 18 Aug 2020& in india still no single phone available with Dimensity SocYeah, its sad to see there's no midrangers in India powered by Dimensity 820...

Companies like Xiaomi, Redmi, Realme, Poco, Nokia, Asus should release thier new midrangers with these mind blowing Dimensity chips, specially their 700 series and 800 series chips in midrangers as they offer incredible performance without costing too much like their Snapdragon counterparts and provide users 5G that is soon to be operationalised in India in next year.

We don't want our new phone to get piece of crap and outdated when 5G releases here, and we are holding our new phones in our hand that doesn't support it.

Same is the case with NFC. With govt ready to connect UPI with NFC, more manufacturers should now bring phones with NFC here in India which will become quite important and useful feature in next years in contrast to other gimmiky features like dual punch hole, infrared port, notification led etc which are useless and only handful of people make use of them
