Yeah, maybe the future is for this kind of panels (+90Hz refresh rate), but as for now, 60Hz are still ok and very much usable.
I paid for my 27" HP monitor (1080p, 60Hz) about 140EUR. If I wanted to get a 27" 4k 120-144Hz monitor, that will have cost me around 780EUR (minimum). Not to mention you will need at least a Ryzen 7 and a RTX 2070 super for 4k 60fps+ games.
I don't know about other people, but that immense difference is not worth it right now. Maybe if I will be filthy rich, I will buy such things, but as a normal person with normal job, I will never buy such devices. And also, I think is pathetic to make credits at bank for such things (I mean, you are poor and can't afford this things from your salary, but you want people to think you are rich and can afford them).

There are low end LCD, midrange LCD and flagship LCD.
LCD made by LG and Sharp can easily offer better results than oled from Boe and Visionox.
Also much better than oled used by Galaxy A.
Not all brands buy high end oled like the ones used by Sony, OnePlus, Apple ...

Larger 24"+ screens will make it difficult to go back to 60hz in my experience but it only makes using your phone much more enjoyable and responsive

Good news LCD is excellent technology
All of a sudden people are going to die using 60hz while they use their 120hx phones to watch YouTube and Netflix 60fps max and play 30-60fps games .. or 120hz Instagram scrolling lol

Oled technology is junk food technology
Every single one of you will be forced to Parise LCD screens in the future and oled will be left in the dustt because it cant push 10000 and 15000 bus for photo realism
But they won't know it's LCD technology because it will have names like "dual cell" "Qned" ,"miniled" "micro led backlight display"

Everyone's complaining about the specs but if ZF7 was to have the specs that u desire you'd all be the first to moan and complain about the price... There's no pleasing some People. They had to cut corners in order to bring the price down. Don't like it move on and buy something else

AnonD-945200, 19 Aug 2020disappointed 👎👎👎Indeed, BIG disappointment. The high refresh screen was supposed to be the main gun against Poco F2... But considering the price will likely be 399€ for base variant and 449€ for the higher storage one, there really isn't any reason to pick it over Poco F2 which is already available at around 385€.
Perhaps at least the Pro variant will deliver the high refresh screen, otherwise it's likely DOA.

Lack of a higher refresh rate is disappointing, otherwise I'm all on-board. My wife has a zenfone 6 and it has been great, way better than my XZ3.

Ppl think that all oled phones offer better images than high end LCD.
Phones like Vivo Nex, Find X, OP6 screens were joke compared to XZ2 Premium, G7 and i8+.
Much inferior image quality.
